Hey,
I am posting in this Forum because from reading some threads, i know there are People on here who know what they are doing and i could use the help.
I posted in the general Section because it does not specifically involve sim settlements(though i have it installed, along with some content packs).
I should add that i am not that experienced with modding, but know my way around a pc. For example i could without a problem manually install all mods.
I´v been at it for several weeks now reading tons of guides and threads.
I have around 278 mods activated, 223 Plug-ins and 141 of them are light. I use Vortex with the " BaGS_2.0 Bake a Game Save Guide", i setup the groups and added rules for the load order and made some hard saves. The 3 Fallout.ini´s where changed twice once with bethini, then manually to suit the mods needs. I got no stutter or fps drops(but i haven´t been to downtown boston yet). I haven´t build or scraped anything in any of the settlements( i wouldn´t dare touching anything in the triangle of death).
To compose my load order i combined the 3 lists on the excel sheet from that Guide, as best as i knew how.(i have a lot of quest/companion mods and mods that were not on the lists so i tried to assign them to a group i thought was right.)
At times i could just assign them to a random vortex group, because i could not find info on which things some mods specifically where changing.
In some cases i needed to use the vortex feature "lock mod index", to get the right load order.
I used some smashed patches created by the xedit RAB_SPLITTER scripts and mator smash.
I should add i use no enb or anything that alter graphics and my main texture mod, were the one on bitraids guide. I integrated/overwrote them in the main files, like stated in his guide.
I did not clean any of the Itms, as i have made bad experiences in skyrimse with that. My save files don´t show any unattached instances.
i read all the descriptions, bugs and some pages on the forum to check for incompatibilities and problems. A missing texture or the likes don't bother me, i watch mostly out for mentioning of ctd´s.
The problem is i get random ctd´s. They are not reproducible. At a time i thought it was a insufficient memory problem, but after some tests i can exclude that.
So i guess it is either a mod load order problem or one of my many small quest mods not playing nice with another mod. Or is cvcdead wasteland not compatible with ss? I also realize i have several mods who do the same thing, but i could not find any problems on the mods pages and for items, etc i used the patches.
I am asking if anybody could maybe give me hints on any faults in the load order. Or based on your experience some advice on some of the smaller mods that could be causing problems.
Eliminating some would save me hours of work. If i have to wait roughly 2 hours to ctd or not ,to check if uninstalling a mod worked, i´ll never finish.
I have attached my load order list and would be very thankful for any help or advice.
