I've been enjoying Sim Settlements for a few months. Recently with version 4.2.9 (or perhaps the one before) I noticed I could create Advanced industrial plots in the workshop menu - so I did. This actually worked for a while, but I noticed visual glitches when rendering the plot. Finally it came to a point where I would get CTD when approaching the settlement.
When consulting the Wiki I noticed that I was not supposed to have this option without installing the Industrial Revolution extension because there are no building plans to support it.
I solved this by simply installing the Industrial revolution extension and now I can approach the settlement and see the glorious hi-tech building.
