A whimsy at Starlight

Replacing the concrete column with a wiring shaft. @Whisper, you're brilliant!

I'll close off the shaft once wiring is complete.

what is the best mod to eliminate build limits ? Woody Woodpecker would be proud of your creation by the way !!

I'm probably not the best one to ask.
As you'll see as I post shots from Mr. Hangman's Neigborhood, I went nuts using the tool within SS.
I overbuilt to the point of massive instability.
It was crazy fun, though, and very therapeutic through the holidays.

I use the SimSettlements holotape. It adds +25% to the build limit per usage - 4x uses would be +100% or 2x the vanilla build limit - so you know roughly how far you've gone down the rabbit-hole as you're building.

I also want the plots to dominate - that’s what they’re for. The rest is just a setting for them. Maybe a bit of area lighting at L2-3, that’s all though.

I like cluttering.
My goal is to tighten things up so that I have fewer spaces that need cluttering.

This is my favorite clutterage so far.

Yep. That's the rabbit-hole that eventually collapsed upon me.

Discipline has never been my strong suit.

hahaha,

Go to Configuration Tools
- hit (Build Limit - Increase Max)
+ 25% each time you run that function

Also, the G2M workshop mod can eliminate them. I prefer the SS halo tape method for all the reasons WetRats said.

YouTube did a seriously-bad number on the video quality.
