First of all I want to say I love this mod and i asked myself how would I improve this mod.and 3 things came to mind. Number one Improved build speed. Id like settlements to build faster its neat to see check up on them to see the progress. Next build in the air covenant i havent seen it but this may happen already if this is true i apologize. Next Auto equip settlers plot. Like an armory to give them better armor, weapons etc. Id love some opinions on these ideas

1- Already an option to auto build. The other option (long build?) is for those of us that like when it takes time.

2- I don’t understand what you mean so I won’t comment.

3- The armory in Conqueror does that for some settlers like guards in outposts and vassals. Unclear if this will be expanded to non-Conqueror settlements and/or more settlers but I keep hope.

Yes but i want it to build faster so less time hey i can dream .Id like to see the settlements build up like a layered apartment even an option to do so heck make a ladder then put a floor there i dont know.

One of us doesn’t understand the other here. I’m not sure who doesn’t understand who. There is an option to not have to wait for plots to build, it takes around a minute and they’re built. If you mean faster than that, I’m going to go on a limb and say there is probably limitations that can’t make them just pop up instantly.

If you meant city plans build automatically, Conqueror can have them built to the level you want before you get out of the vault which will be hard to be fast.

If it’s something else you’ll have to explain more.

Where do i click for that option. Id like to see my settlements built completely. Like the progress expands etc. Id like to click build a plot and wait a minute and have it expand id like to see the settlement level up in 1 minute etc

Conqueror can have them prebuilt when you start the game but if you mean going to an empty settlement, selecting a plan and have it all done within a minute I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen. I don’t use city plans (Id rather control what is built where) but I remember when I tried them that even just cleaning and building the base (level 0) took some time which, if I’m not mistaken, is why SS starts the “flying while watching it build” thing it does.

From there level to level takes some time (which I’m guessing is what you want to disappear) and potentially time to accumulate the necessary scraps (that can already be turned off). The time restraint seems to be a design decision (it’s there for plots, city plans) and at this point I’d be surprised if they removed it entirely, even if optional. Keep in mind I’m not working on the mod, it’s simply an educated guess. Because some time constraint (that can happen while you are away) combined to the pre-build settlements from conqueror makes me doubt they’ll change it. But I’ve been wrong before.

PS: Just in case your issue is with the fact that things can take a few minutes to be finished, I have some bad news. The game will always have limitations and it takes time for things to be done. As an example, if you start a new game with conqueror and pre-build settlements and use a fast start mod it might cause issues because SS uses the time you’d normally do the intro to build settlements and it could be a long process depending on how many settlements (and the complexity of the plans themselves I assume). That period of time that makes things not build instantly will never go away completely, it’s part of the limitations. Kinggath and company didn’t just decide to make people wait 5 minutes cause they think it’s funny.

Thanks im not much interested in the conqueror expansion personal preference. I guess if i wanted a pure action play through tho it could be fun, What if i used a scrap all mod would that help in speeding up the progress?

No. And the number of times it made people crash has demonstrated its preferable to not do that. I don’t have the numbers but it feels to me like one of every three or four bug report is linked to that.

Really as far as waiting for the amount of time for the process to finish you’re just going to have to accept that the system has to work. There is a lot happening for a city plan and plots and structure to build, the time it takes is just the reality of it.

As for using Conqueror, you don’t HAVE to play raider or even a faction pack to use the Settlement pre-building. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong but from what I’ve seen, I could have pre-built settlements and still played the normal Minutemen way to get and use the settlements. I didn’t pre-built but Conqueror is installed and I’m following the normal way to use settlements.

So if i want everything build at the start just download and turn the mod on?

Totally agree with @Irealys, ScrapAll is bad news. Its great to scrap all the stuff in your settlements to start with, but it then causes issues due to the very things it removed.
I don't use conqueror either, so don't have pre-built settlements to just move into.
But one of the joys of SS is to build your settlement how you want it, and then enjoy the building process not being instant. You watch it grow. You see the effort mod builders have put into making building stages and see it evolve. Same with city building. Let it evolve at the pace intended.
