3.4.0 HUD is very laggy to update if at all.

I am running the latest 3 in 1 version. I have many settlements founded in the north-east section of the map. The HUD will now takes ages if at all to load the values for the current settlement. Opening and closing workshop mode will force a refresh, but the HUD will often stay on the screen a long while after I left the settlement. And not load the next one most probably.

Sometimes those values will stay into other settlements and won't update to the current location. In outpost Zimonja, I cannot get the HUD to load the values, closing workshop mode will work for about 30 seconds to a minute then load the ones from Tenpines Bluff.

I play without fast travel if that may be a problem.

As of the latest 3.4.0 we cannot alter the number of threads ingame to force clear a would be script queue, so I am at a loss.

I have terminated all the kshelper active scripts related to SimSettlements in Fallrim Tools. I loaded ingame and same thing, as if I never edited the save to begin with.

Unattached instances (I have about 150) are not recommended by Fallrim Tools for cleaning yet as they have yet to figure which ones are safe to delete. As there are integral to the way Fallout 4 works. :(

What should I do. XD

I just uninstalled Survival Widget and the problem is almost to totally gone. Weird... Will have to playtest more to see if it really is ok now. O.O

Clean the unattached.. save it.. load it.. chill out for a few minutes (interior cell is best) save & check it again.
A lot of times you don't have to mess with the active scripts as they will clear out. But the unattached instances need a bit of cleaning.

If someone else can confirm that this mod causes this issue with the SS Hud, I think we should put it on the Problematic mods list on the Wiki! :drinks

I think it was the problem. Modpage on the nexus is:
(Nexus)/fallout4/mods/20818?tab=description
(Sorry not enough like ratio to post links LOL)

In the bugs section there is a problem concerning it not updating stats. In fact it is not compatible with mods that alter hc_managerscript.pex. In my game, I play with Horizon, and Survival Options to have access to console because obviously this is a Bethesda Game. Though it is ok with Horizon apparently. Horizon has its patch to work with Sim Settlements.

I think after all that this was in some way related to Sim Settlements HUD not working and updating correctly. I disabled it and problem gone, no need for removing my 155 unattached instances nor terminate kghelper active script threads relating to Sim Settlements. So yay!

Unfortunately with the HUD mods, since we're all sharing a framework - if one of them gets greedy in how frequently it updates it can cause all the others to get backed up. That's actually why the SS HUD is a little slow to update most of the time, I figure SS stuff is not mission critical compared to combat things so I only have it update in response to you doing certain things (and even then there is a short delay) - that way I'm not hogging all of the HUD bandwidth.

TLDR: SHAME! Survival Widget - SHAME!
