I hope this is the right section to post this, if not....oops.

Anyhow I went to update Sim Settlements on my Xbox One and then it just disappeared. When I went to download it again it said that the operation could not be completed. I tried clearing my system cache and reboot the system but that didn't work. I googled it and saw that a lot of other people were having the same issue but there was no real explanation or fix for it. I was wondering if anyone had this issue and were able to resolve it.

Sorry for the delay
can you try a hard restart, unplug ur xbox for 30 seconds or so and see if that helps

It's on Bethesda's end. Same issue - XBox. Can't dl or update mods since Thursday of last week. No answer from BGS on why, nor when it will be fixed. Still having issues today (Tuesday).

I've had plenty of folks on Youtube respond that a hard reset has fixed the issue for them. One person had to clear their reserve space (I think that's the move that requires you to redownload your mods).

This worked temporarily. It's sporadic. I had cleared all my reserve space (all my mods) and was able to dl about a dozen when it happened again. Log out, log back in - sometimes I can dl, usually I can't. It is affecting both mods and CC ( can't dl either one).

Issue is still happening, and is now affecting PS4 players as well. Not widespread - it is not happening to everyone - and still sporadic. Sometimes i can dl, sometimes I can't; sometimes within the same session. (Still trying to re-dl all the mods I had.)

I started having problems with using their website yesterday. This seems pretty conveniently timed with the 76 release.... guessing they are having some pretty heavy load on their infrastructure with everyone suddenly downloading 50+ GB from them.

@kinggath I haven't even tried to update anything, especially Sim Settlements (Lite). If I get the error, that mod disappears from my LO, which means I would be totally screwed. Plus it probably is leaving people with ghost files. :suicide2
Please don't have a patch for Xbox until this is fixed!

I think I figured out a fix. I tried downloading some other mods but kept getting the same issue, so it's not anything related to Sim Settlements. I went into my Xbox settings and did a manual update. Once it installed and restarted I tried downloading the mods that I had issues with and they downloaded just fine without that annoying error. I thought it was odd because I have my xbox set so that it would download updates automatically, but for some reason it didn't. Give it a try....it worked out great for me.

Go to Settings>System>Updates & Downloads

I suspect that you didn't fix the problem, but got one of those sporadic "now it's working!" windows. The issue persists. I've been able to dl some, but even in the same session trying to re-download the mods I had before this debacle it will suddenly give me the error.

It actually did work out great for me. I've not had any problems downloading any mods.

Still experiencing this issue. :( I tried @RainySundays suggestion, but my xbone was already up to date. I don't dare try to update Sim Settlements to the new 3.5.1 because if it glitches I'm screwed because this error removes the mod from your LO. Really not happy with Bethesda, and they have likely lost me as a customer for their next release.

The method that I use to get past this issue was: 1. unfavorite SS 2. Restart SS 3. Favorite SS and download. When I restarted I started another game and then went back to Fallout 4. No idea why, but this worked.

All these "I tried X and it worked" "fixes" are just luck. The issue is on Bethesda's end and hasn't been fixed. All we're doing is re-trying the connection, and - yeah - if you keep trying, eventually it works. We haven't fixed anything. I roll a d6, I'll get a 1 eventually. My trials have gone to about 50/50 to 1 in 3 lately, so I have been able to dowload and even patch/update mods, but it is chancy.
