Workshops where have they run away to

So I started my first use of the new mod. and went out and of course killed maimed and collected tons of stuff .... and of course leveled. I was going to do some improvements on my weapons but the settlers have stolen the work bench ... did they hide it? did they scrap it?

The chances are incredibly good that they hauled it off for use in a science project, probably involving the Tinker Tom device and a plunger.

The chances are also good that they'll eventually put the benches back, just not in the places you left them. Until that time, you are absolutely ok in creating a new one somewhere out of the way where they won't notice so they won't take it and try to breed them.

Technically speaking, the city plan scraps anything associated with the settlement when you kick it off, but only does it at initial kickoff so if you wait and build them after you start the settlement percolating, they won't get scrapped.

Ah HAH so they did steal them, damn them, guess I will have to make the gas station my main stop until i am high enough to install new ones at Sanctuary.
