Question Workshop Framework conflict with UFO4P - safe to ignore?

FO4Edit flags Workshop Framework as conflicting with UFO4P in that it overrides the latter's changes to WorkshopSandboxRelaxation20x4 back to the original values in Fallout.esm.

The changelog for UFO4P suggests the package was changed in v1.0.4 back in 2016 to fix an issue (bug #20303) where WorkshopSandboxRelaxation20x4 was not working & settlers would stand still for a few in-game hours doing nothing except for staring at holes in the sky even when there were valid relaxation targets for them to use at a settlement.
However, in v1.0.4c the fixes were supposed to have been removed as they appeared to aggravate an existing engine bug where settlers spontaneously change physical appearance, gender, race, & lose any items the player has given them. The changelog reports that this issue has not been fixed by Bethesda & settlers will still change clothing on a regular basis, but this is harmless & appears to be an unannounced intentional feature added to the system with Patch 1.6.

Despite this it seems as though the change is still present in v2.1.1a of UFO4P, so it is not at all clear whether this is intentional &, if so, whether it fixes a bug that is then being reversed by the WorkshopFramework override or, if the override is left in place, whether it will adversely affect NPC behaviour in settlements?

Any advice? Should we just ignore the conflict?

At this point I would ignore that conflict. You seem to have researched it well: from your description it should have been reverted in UFO4P and hasn’t been.
