Who loves F76 Battle Royal

i gave fo76 a fair crack. it is complete shit.

all this is, is bethesda chasing the market. did you see the state of that guy at E3 "**** yeah, we put battle royale in fo76" - shame you couldn't bother to fix the game breaking bugs that have been there since fo4, you absolute clown.

they've done nothing orginal with fo76, it is, by some distance, the worst game i've ever bought, and i've been playing computer games since the 1980's.

they could make it shit gold bitcoin and i still wouldn't load it up.

I'm very impressed with this and it's my first battle royal game mode. Nuclear Winter is awesommme

:smile I liked the post because I appreciate that @Gholden_Phoenix shared what they liked and for them it was awesome. :good

I own it "fallout 76", that said. I would like one day like to get my money's worth out of it.

Once they bring back NPC's I will likely give FO76 another try.

I have never played a battle royal game "at least that I know of?" so if I ever do play one it is really good to know that a game I am a little bit familiar with can provide that experience and thanks to @Gholden_Phoenix I will have a positive impression before I try it :declare ha! to me "that is a good thing"

Thanks for sharing @Gholden_Phoenix :bye I will try it out at some point :friends, it's on me if I like it or not, but it is your opinion that persuaded me to go into it with the right attitude.:yes3

It's the first thing about 76 that has caught my interest. Everything up until now just looks like Fo4 with mods to me.
While it looks like a lot of fun it would get old fast because it's massively unbalanced. If they addressed that, plus improved the servers and reduced load times I'd probably pick it up.

I feel if they made it single player with the option to invite friends would be better so we could all check out each others settlements and what city plans were used and stuff :grin
This is how we got Fallout 76....

Fallout 76 aint great and it aint bad. The problem is without the settlement system Fallout 4 has it just gets old after a while. Then as your friends get bored and quit playing due to that daily grind it just ends up feeling that much emptier.

It definitely is worth playing for the story and exploration, so you can at least expect a couple hundred hours out of that.

I played Fo76 the day it came out for a month on Xbox before I even knew what a mod was but now Fo4 is just endless entertainment. I wish I could invite everyone over for a drink or to kill some monsters with this new mod I just found called War of the Commonwealth, or just to check out some settlements and sit around a campfire haha.:beach:vinsent:vampire

WOTC is one of my favourite mods but you cannot not use it for long with SS or any other script heavy mods. You are going to be getting lots of CTD's unless you run it in a minimal loadorder.

lol, starting gaming and starting to buy games is far from an alignment in my book of high school nefarious geek trading schemes ;) I don't find much opportunity to team up on parties and make friends, so FO76 Nuclear Winter mode has been a refreshing change albeit limited to the one map.

WOTC was always very unstable and broke more than one game I was playing at the time. I remember once, I came out of the vault and got one-shotted by a glowing one!
If you want an alternative, SKK50 makes incredibly stable mods. I have his hostile stalkers mod enabled to max setting so that it spawns large mobs that will try to attack me. In addition, I have his settlement attack mod, again set to maximum and with the lowest respawn time. What this does is attack the settlement I may be near to - and/or will announce an attack on a settlement, and the battles are fierce and challenging.
Those two with NPC's travel have brought my game to life and it stays very stable. I'd recommend both of them over WOTC every time.

I have to disagree with your choice of word, utter or 100% would be a better choice then complete lol

My honest opinion of Fallout 76

People who say it is ok/good = Long Time Fallout fans (Like me) that if they admit to it being such an utter (that word again) pile of giant cows dung will have a mental breakdown, realising their world has come to an end and will just curl up and die or go insane and murder Tit Howard, sorry Sodd Howard, dam Todd Howard The Dick

People who say its rubbish = True Fallout fans that have gone so far over the edge, you could get more conversation from a Ghoul and a Ghoul would be less likely to eat your face off.

People who say they love it = Sorry my fault, I let them out of Hell on day release

The idea behind Fallout 76 is a great concept, join some mates, wander, chat, laugh and have fun in a Fallout world, but maybe it should have been a little better thought out. Now bearing in mind that I had dreamed for something like this and have only played a mates copy for a few hours before bursting out in tears, then in turn Jumping onto FarCry 5 Co-op mode and running around with 3 mates in my game, at first helping me do missions and they just going insane, added to Metro Exodus where after a few hours of killing inoccent people, found that many or my people hated me, i began to feel that Fallout was somewhat missing what it could have been even using those tiny examples.

Noted that I have only a few hours play and in a sense have really not earned the right to comment, I can however say this:

I have played every single Fallout and Elder Scrolls that has ever been to this point, Fallout 4 = 5 complete play throughs, Skyrim =6 as examples, I think for most you begin to have a feel for what should been with fallout 76 from the start.

Then I take a look at "the Outer Worlds" and character interaction, even a choice to pick a dumb reply and lots of other details (simular to FO New Vegas) (p.s. Outworlds is a game to watch for, small but promising),

I begin to wonder, are we convincy ourselves that the game is ok/good just so we can protect ourselves from the heartache is we admit the truth?
