Vortex Setup Issue

Hi. I thought i would post this question here, since people tend to be more helpful. I did a reset of my OS today and it logically uninstalled some of my programs, including vortex. The problem i'm having that i can't seem to find the answer to online and was hoping someone here might know how to fix. I have my mods stored on my E drive, while Vortex and my installed games are installed on the G drive. I can not figure out how to get vortex to recognize the the mods on E, when i set the default download and mods folders. It keeps giving me errors like this folder must be empty and so on. The reason i don't have the mods download folder on the same drive as steam, where the games are installed. Is because it was taking up too much space on the drive.

Hey, @RC1521 mine is like you said "both on the same drive." I did check and poked around a bit but have not done that myself... sorry :pardon

Seems like you can, but all I have are the instructions you likely have already read.

I would hit up the Nexus Vortex forums and see if one of the folks there can lend a hand.

As is, a non-answer but I did look at for what that's worth. :umnik2

BTW - you get a like for the screenshots!

Mod Staging Folder
Code:

Please remove the space at the beginning of the folder name.
