Update problem

Hello... I play on a PC. I do not use Nexus Mod Manager. I install mods directly from the game. The current updates are not installing. The download counter shows activity, but then both Sim Settlements and Rise show as uninstalled after the download counter finishes. In order to play the game without the update, I have to exit to desktop, re-launch the game, and then enable Sim Settlements and all related mods.

I play on an ASUS gaming tower with a Nvidia 1060 card.

Thanks for any help/advice!

If you install the update, and then go to the load order screen, can you check them in?

The update doesn't actually install. After the download countdown reaches 100%, it indicates that SS isn't even installed and needs to be downloaded -- although it is. Check out these screenshots. And thanks for the help! I really enjoy these mods!

The three screenshots I've attached show the progression from update screen to result.

At #3, if I hit "download" again, it counts down and then tells me the operation cannot be completed.

Oh weird - that's what usually happens to Xbox players when they run out of space.

If you'd like to download them manually, you can use the manual option on Nexusmods.com without having to use the Nexus Mod Manager. This will give you a .7z file that you can extract to your Fallout 4/Data folder. After you do that, you will find the mod on your Mods -> Load Order screen in the game so you can check it in.
