Not really anything to do to make the mod better just a suggestion to maybe make a full outfit pack from outfits from ss1 its expansions, ss2 and the upcoming part 3 put the outfits as a big pack more or less just the iconic outfits from main characters. not sure if its been asked before but i always thought itd be cool to be able to use them. Thanks for all the hard and great work!
 
There's already a mechanic added in Chapter 2 that lets you acquire those outfits for your own use without any form of 'cheating' - talk to Dyllan in Concord once he appears and do his little quest and it'll be clear.

ahh tbh only did like 1-2 missions for it and never went back ill need to check it out, tho more of the outfits i was thinking id like to see was from ss1 stuff or just all grouped together in a section in the chemistry workshop for a easier find that way i could use them on my non ss play threws. Anyways thanks for the reply imma load up and check it out!

Im trying to think back, and the only custom outfit in SS1 I can remember is Ophelia from Conqueror... I am probably misremembering, though.
 
Most of the custom outfits in both C1 and C2 are part of the Extended pack, which is an optional part of the base mod. as near as i can tell, pretty much every major NPC and unique settler in both chapters has at least a minorly modified outfit.

edit: So i got curious, and walked through the list of NPCs in the base and C2 ESMs. it is easier to list the NPCs that DON'T have a custom outfit:
Default outfit templates from Chapter 1:
  1. hauer quest child 1 & 2
  2. Raider Guard
  3. Audra
  4. Anton
  5. Knox
  6. 3 unnamed "raiders" with knox during grey matters
  7. Alex Powell
  8. Katie Powell
  9. Julia Powell
  10. Miner (probably a plot NPC)
  11. Cue (not sure)
  12. about half the visitor NPCs
  13. Magnum (?)
  14. Echo Lake Confessor (?)
  15. the "where there's smoke" dead settlers
  16. Darsenia in diamond city (not Darsenia 2, who has a custom outfit)
  17. about half the staff of the BFB brothel during the handsey questline
  18. Bounty hunter (?)
  19. ATOM accolytes (hubert's friends?)
  20. Marv (?)
  21. Lexington Hooligan (?)
  22. TocToc (the raider boss)
  23. the raiders from "Casting a Line"
  24. Hammer (the off-screen stock character who was reused in West everette)
  25. Skout (Sickle's subordinate?)
  26. Nail (hammer's brother?)
  27. Frank Davidson (the feral ghoul in Vault Tech regional HQ)
  28. the NPCs added in Vault 81, including Cedric (except he gets a custom outfit in chapter 2)
  29. the audience for Wasteland theatre
  30. about half the visitor NPCs templates for randomly spawning settlement visitors
Non-Default outfits from Chapter 1 that only contain default items:
  1. the Brewmaster
  2. Sickle
  3. the other half of the settlement visitors NPCs templates
  4. the other half of the staff of the BFB brothel
  5. Lashes and gibs (from theresa's group during Who Can ASAM)
Default outfit templates from Chapter 2:
  1. Roger the scavver
  2. Fanboy and Fangirl from the wasteland Theatre
  3. Kat Kettle (the Captured hellcound from Calling potential deputies)
  4. Randy Adams (unique settler)
  5. Lydia's caravan guards
  6. about half the nightingale guards during new connections
  7. CPD prisoners (in the cells)
  8. Galister (an institute doctor added by C2)
  9. Vault 75 gunners
  10. the harried concord settler in Dark Horizons
  11. the faction members, including the gunners, in War is good for business and Beginning of the end
NPCs in chapter 2 that use a non-default outfit that only contain default items:
  1. Lydia Proudmore (clean suit)
  2. the 3 commonwealth men (4 tuxedo. a wasteland theatre act)
  3. Wise's civilian disguise during Beginning of the end
  4. Abigail and her cheating husband from concord in Father I Have Sinned
  5. Bobby the ranch hand and Craig (the other one) from Branagan's caravans
  6. Boris, Knifepoint, Grizzly, and Bombface from The hunt for Caleb
  7. Jeff, Alyssa's assistant, and the interview subjects from Voice of the Commonwealth 1 & 2
again, the outfit templates and custom outfit items use default models and textures in ss2 and C2 ESMs. it's only when you have the Extended pack that the item definitions are overridden with the custom models and textures, since that's the size-expensive bits.
