Question Undo, Redo and Copy doesn't work correctly

I get the prompt to say WS+ has undone/redone an action or copied an object but it hasn't actually done said action.

Possibly thinking its a place anywhere issue but wouldn't know how to solve it.

I am on Xbox and that is the Xbox mod name but you don't say what platform, although the two platforms might be different I think they have most of the same features. To turn off PA on Xbox you open the options menu box and if turning it off this must be done in the in the pipboy and the aid section. Open aid find place anywhere item click on it, scroll to options then scroll to near the bottom and click Master switch or something like that, turn it off. As I understand there is a similar control on the PC mod even though it is made by someone else. I have no idea where it is.
That might not fix your problem so next you would have to MAKE A HARD SAVE to go back to and you must go back to that save after the test. Disable the mod in question open the game and try again. Your results maybe different. Before you go back to the first save delete and save made after it the first save MUST be the most recent save in the list, then back out to the FO4 title screen choose mods enable PA, then do a full shutdown from the power settings in the Xbox menu and unplug your device to clear the cache. You can transfer the cache form one game to another with the cache on Xbox so that is an important step. The Xbox builds the cache from the most recent save so managing the most recent save is as important as clearing the cache.
Missed it you are on PC most of that will not help but it might help any Xbox users lurking so I will leave it.

I'm on PC, not sure why I didn't try troubleshooting first by disabling PA then seeing if the undo/redo works.

I know there is a hotkey (that you need to enable in the .ini) to enable/disable PA in game but I couldn't get that to work.

Either way I'll quickly hop on my pc and see if it is for sure PA messing with things... thanks! :)

Ahhhhhhh... even with Place Anything disabled it still does the same saying WS+ has undone/redone an action but not actually doing it etc

I had problems with a few things not working as expected some I found out I was doing it wrong, but others no solution. My fix was simple save more often and undo things by loading an earlier save. Not very technical but it works and builds are usually very elaborate so I build the same thing 3 or 4 times but in little pieces.
Like this place.

Then several months later and likely 100 saves reloaded it was this.

Then 100 more saves and I finally got this cage build working.(This pic is actually early in the process as I proceeded I had script lag and nothing would come out of cages) No pics of the later though.

thanks so much for the help though :)

You can use that same technique of saving and going back to test your whole LO. First you would disable all your mods except for WSFW and WS+ and see if it will undo and redo. It might not because you have pulled out so many from the save, but if it does then you can add ten mods at a time until it will not undo and redo. Then you pull those ten you added and clear your cache and add the last group one at a time to find the conflicting mod. Then add everything except that mod and try again. If you get it down to the one mod you can try moving that in the order to see if it will work in a different location. Then you likely will have to start a new game or just put things back as they were and remember the better order for your next game. Just a general rule when you pull mods for troubleshooting you must clear the cache but not when you are adding. Stressing general rule, it does not always apply.
