No Response Turn Off Purple Layer highlight

Is there a way to turn off the purple layer highlighting? I don't use layers, but do use other features, but even outside of the Workshop mode my settlements are getting highlighted as I come up on them.

While I'm not a big immersion kinda of guy, having everything flash purple is rather annoying.

And this just started with the latest patch.

Yep, that's on my list, should make it into the next patch. There are times when it's very important that it flashes so people don't screw up things like blueprints - but if you're not using the layers, it really shouldn't be flashing.

My understanding is the most recent update was supposed to fix this, but I'm still getting flashing purple objects.
