Question Torn Between Conqueror and SS2

I wonder if anyone can give me some insight on which to choose here.
I was just about to start a raider mega playthrough with thuggysmurf's mods and I had in mind to couple that with my 1st Conqueror playthrough.
Is it worthwhile now that SS2 is out? Are you guys still going to update Conqueror? Is it better to just play with SS2 and wait for conqueror features to be added down the line and not have to start a new playthrough?

I haven't played either yet, so any insight at all would be great. Also, it may bear mentioning that I love the nuka world raiders and I'm hoping to still see that expansion get integrated with conqueror. Have those plans been scrapped in lieu of SS2?

I barely played Conqueror as SS2 came out about a week after I started it. I suggest a second profile so you can play both and see which style you prefer
