Three-in-one not working? 3.5.0

I got the three-in-one through the mods menu in-game. I go to the museum and don't see the terminal, RobCo boxes or the holotape. I used console commands to get the holotape, but it keeps looping that first text screen. I would press OK then it would return back to that same screen. I have tried getting this through Nexus and it did not work either. I don't have any other settlement mods active. I have tried stopquest kgsim_simsettlementparent and startquest kgsim_simsettlementparent and that did not work. I did clean saves, I did everything I could find. Please help! (I am using the three in one with 3.5.0)

Edit: Use Three in one, 3.4.5. Have it on a CLEAN SAVE (Thats crutial) A clean save is a save that has the mod not on it. Clean Save instructions: Save the game. Return to menu and deactivate the mod. Go in that last save and save again. Return to menu and activate mod. Return to that save you made, and the boxes should be there.

Spent over an hour trying to get this to work to no avail, hopefully someone can give us confused souls a solution.

I am reinstalling fallout 4. It keeps your saves, so no worries.

I am also unable to get the 3.5.0 3in1 pack to work. I deleted all of my saves and did a clean download. After a lot of testing, I was able to get the standalone 3.4.5 along with Rise of the Commonwealth 3.4.3 to get the items to spawn in the museum. When I also had the Industrial Revolution 3.3.3 installed, the boxes and holotape failed to appear.

I tried to install 3.4.5 to get it going and then start using 3.5.0, but it wasn't working. I'll have to just keep using the older version for now.

Yeah, having the same issue here as OP, stuck on infinite loop when I enter the holotape after spawning it in. Will try the older versions.

EDIT:

Can confirm with Zeorhymer above, using the older versions works absolutely fine, but the newest all in one won't work at all, even after following every fix suggested.

Same issue as OP. Holotape only appears through console player.additem, and just loops through the first screen. Will try earlier versions tomorrow. Tried manual install, no dice

3.5.0a is on nexus and will be on beth soon.
give that a go and see it that helps

Good morning,

I'm new to mods and forums in general so I apologise for any etiquette missteps. I have been all over looking to fix SS 3 in 1(3.5.0). I used multiple fixes but none have worked: (Save outside the museum then turn on mod) (Uninstall and reinstall mod)(running just SS) (Starting a new save) (turning mod on with an older non modded save) etc

- The holotape never spawns in the museum.
- I downloaded the holotape cheat but when I active the tape, it loops on the "start up message" (press ok to continue etc)

Thank you everyone for your hard work and support.

I just tried 3.5.0a and still no holotape spawn. Console commands to get the holotape still result in the holotape not doing anything. Going to try the older versions now

The lack of holotape spawn issue is very strange. I was trying to troubleshoot this on Nexus with some users and have had no luck. I even setup a test PC that had no mods on it and installed the latest build of SS and it works fine.

The general steps to narrow this down are the following:

1. Disable all mods. Install latest build of SS manually and enable only that on the Mods screen in-game.
2. Download a quick start save from nexus.
3. Rename your Fallout 4/Data/Scripts folder to scripts-backup.
4. Load the quick start save and go to the museum to see if everything from SS spawned.

If that doesn't work, then the only remaining variable is Fallout 4 itself. Could be a version issue (must be on version 1.9.4 or higher and I've been told that SS doesn't work with some of the cracked versions), or a bad install in general, in which case verifying the game files through Steam should resolve it.

Some other rogue possibilities:

1. The download is corrupting from Nexus, could try downloading from Bethesda.net's in-game system.
2. You're running into the Creation Club problem - some users report that various parts of the early game get stuck when you have certain Creation Club content installed - you could test this by moving all of your cc files out of your Fallout 4/Data folder.
3. Demons.

These versions worked for me! Thank you for doing the version research I’ve been blocked for a day trying to get this going.

King, I don't have a "Scripts" folder, is that required? In my Data I have, Video, MCM, and fomod. And then some files from mods.

I am attempting what Zeo did, I deleted all my saves except a quick start, and all my mods. I am re-installing fallout 4. I will put back in simsettlements and hope it works.

The scripts folder is not required. Having it means that a mod has installed loose script files (for shame!), which can sometimes cause conflicts - depending on what they included. Renaming the scripts folder (if you have it), ensures that there are no loose scripts to interfere.

I still cannot get 3.5.0a 3in1 to work. Here's my setup:

Fallout 4 v1.10.114.0
DLC: Wasteland Workshop, High Res Pack

Clean re-download, deleted the Fallout4 folder in Documents and in Steam Folder. Loaded a mod free save in front of museum after founding Sanctuary. Only mod active is SS 3.5.0a using manual install. When going to the room with boxes, it does not show up.

I removed the 3.5.0a and manually installed 3.4.5. I used the same clean save and the boxes appeared without issues. I think I'm missing something either a DLC to get it to work because I'm as close to base game as I can get.

I love SS and I've sunk so many hours into it. I'm just disappointed that I can't get 3.5.0 all in one to work. I'll keep working with the older build since it makes the game so much better. Keep up the great work.

I'm just going to try what you are doing, 4.5.0. I had to disable my firewall though because windows says there is a virus. King, a suggestion from me is to make a version that has the holotape and some ASAM sensors spawn in your inventory when the game starts, I don't mod so I don't know the details, but I believe it might help some of us.

Oh my god it works! I am using three in one, 3.4.5. Clean save then activate mod, it works! Zeo found a working solution, but 3.5.0 still is not working. Probably a bug with 3.5.0, King. Thanks Zeo!

This won't solve the problem as NONE of the scripts are running, which would include any script to start them in your inventory.

Woot! Thanks much for the quick update. Three in one 3.5.0b works (in a way). When going into the museum, the computer, holotape and boxes do not show up. Since I'm on PC, I was able to use the additem console command to add the holotape. Accessing the tape works like normal.

Reinstalled 3 in 1 on my xbox1. Started new game with SS enabled no other mods active. The boxes etc showed up in the museum. Saved then enabled the rest of the mods. No issues so far.

Awesome mod and great support videos. Thanks again for the hard work SS team!
