So I've just installed SS2 and some texture mods. I can start a new game, but every time I try to load a save - it's CTD. Any solutions for this?afsf.PNG

Alright, seems like the problem was in the Workshop Framework. It's got a new version recently and I didn't notice this. Now everything works fine :)
I could think of a better name for the thread, but I will try and help since I'm here.

Some more information is needed. You can start a new game, and then continue on with that save game normally? Are you trying to add SS2 to an ongoing savegame? If your trying to add it to an ongoing save and then having any issues, are the mods listed in you pic the only ones that have ever been installed on that save? How far along is that save game?

And just to be clear, if this mod in some way "killed" everyone's save files and would cause them not to load, it would have been spotted and fixed before release. Chances are something is going on with your old save, or you have run into a very strange bug that no one has experienced before. Either way, further info is needed.

EDIT: It's also worth noting that I am fairly familiar with the mods you are using other than Valius and the Hair mod. But if they are only textures and hair, they should not interfere or interact with SS2 in any way.

OK, thanks for trying to help and sorry if thread name is misleading. Here's more details about what's happeing.
1. I deleted all my save files, since they were using SS1 and were not compatible anyway.
2. I disabled most of my mods to see if SS2 would work correctly. Only those on the screenshot remained. SS1 and addons are deleted.
3. I started a new game, created a new character, saved a game manually and quit to main menu.
4. When I tried to reload the save file I've just created - CTD. Exitsave - same.
5. If I try to just start a NG and play without exiting - it plays fine at least to the exit from the Vault 111.

Alright, so that is an odd issue. 2 things to try here, and 1 more to note.

I have since talked to someone else using the Nisha mod and they can confirm that it works with SS2 with zero issues. So we can rule that out.

I either have or am playing with the other mods you have installed (with one exception), and have had no issues like your describing. That one exception is the Valius mod. So here is my suggestion. Take one of your save files that crashes (preferably a manual save) and put it into a zip/rar/7z archive and try and upload it to a site like Dropbox or mega and PM me the link. I'll take a look and see if anything obvious stands out. The 2nd suggestion I have is to deactivate the Valius mod and start a new test game and run through the vault. Make a save after you exit and see if you can load that one, and then let me know here.

You have a really short list, so this shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Oh, also, please check those mods and make sure all of them are the most up to date versions. I know UFO4P updated a couple of days ago.

You need to be using buffout 4 or Baka memeory scrap heap expander my guess is that the combination of this and 3dnpc are causing the scripts to exceed the stock limit and giving you the corrupt save file. I would also ditch 3dnpc unless you are using a patch that restores precombines and previs for modded areas. Kriss takahashi does great work but he didn’t know about precombines or previs when making that mod so it breaks some areas of the game. Luckily there are patches now days to fix that. Would also probably ditch the texture mods first and try from there as texture mods can be loaded and unloaded with minimal issues.

but buffout4 will fix the memory limit that probably causing the issue you are having Baka works as well so download either of them and their requirements and try again. If issues still persist remove textures then retry. If still having issues then I’m guessing it’s an install related issue and a uninstall reinstall may be in order.

With a modlist that short, there’s no way you have script bloating or other similar issues. My suggestion would be a complete uninstall of Fallout 4 (through Steam and then manually deleting any files left behind). Then reinstall. Something must be corrupting your new saves.

I’ve noticed this a lot more recently steam only verifies what’s there and doesn’t fix everything so about 1 time a year I uninstall Skyrim and fallout 4 then clear the ini files save files and anything left over like loose files from mods. It’s amazing the amount of clutter left behind by some mods.
