Thinking about building a new PC

So, I'm tired of the limitations the Xbox have and thought about getting a new PC. What are some good specs to run FO4 with a good amount of mods (SS included, obviously)? Don't mention prices, because i don't use dollar, just some good hardware that's not too overkill.

Thanks!

Depends what you mean by overekill. I have a wishlist for a new PC that I plan on building on Newegg...Ryzen 3700X, a 1Gb NVme drive, 32Gb of DDR4 pc3600 system ram, Asus x570 mobo. You can see what I already have for a rig. I play at 1080p and since I am gonna re use my GTX1070 & monitor, I will wait untill next year to upgrade those. I do need to upgrade to Win 10, as I run on Win7.

The thing is, I play F04 with almost 300 mods, and it could really use the additional system Ram.

I was thinking maybe a Ryzen 5 2600, a 1660ti and 16Gb RAM to kick off. Hardware here is too expensive so I can't get some high end stuff.

I would get as good as you are able. You can build a very decent rig for under !000 these days. Where are you from?

I'm from Brazil. For comparison, I found an i7 9700k for US$ 400ish in THE US. Here, we pay R$ 2,500. Our minimum wage is R$ 1075.

US$ 1000 is almost R$ 6000.

this game is nearly 5 years old you don't need a super computer to run it - in fact, after a certain point, the additional power becomes moot because the game engine has its own limitations and no amount of cpu power, gpu power and memory will help you.
if you're going to build a new computer, look to build one that will support the more modern games at a reasonable performance. if you do that, then this cranky old game should chug along just fine, until the engine throws a tantrum and wrecks your game.

I always forget how old this game is.

The reason I am asking for this particular advice is because I want to have a lot of mods installed and I don't know how resource hungry they like to be.

That will easily run the game on ultra at 1080p, you could probably run it at 4k with those specs too.

Perfect. Something else to consider is if you will use it for other purposes besides gaming. If you are going to do video editing, a high end system will not slow you down too much.
