Not a bug The water is not fine

So I decided to get back into Fallout after a short break (waiting for bug fixes), to find that ironically the water is not fine for me.

So using my own build not a city planner one, I have a hydration plant showing it should be providing 30 water, and it is not, and an internal something or rather by Eldrath which has been stuck at level 1 for a while and it shows it is not giving water in the plaque.

This is at Tenpines where I have 23 water, but I have a powered water pump giving 10 water, and a industrial water plot I forget the name of by Myteegio also giving 10 water, not sure where the other 3 waster is from.

I have refreshed both plots, but still the same problem.

SS, RS and IR are 3.11, and before you say it, somewhere I read something about NMM having problems with files over 100mbs or something, so I only manually install simset mods, and just to be sure I unzipped the files again and manually copied the esp and ba2 files to the data folder, loaded and refreshed the plots.

Also I am dyslexic an crappy speller so if I spelt those modders names wrong, sorry.

Do you have dynamic needs on? That should be taking some of your water for plots like farms and homes. I know Eldrath's water recycling internal plot doesn't actually produce water for the settlement, it just provides bottled waters for the workbench.

I do, but after getting feed up with needing so many farms I ended up editing vanilla plants to give allot of food, and at tenpines it is only using vanilla mutfruit trees.

In the quiet words of the virgin Mary, come again, well I guess it is time to remove that internal plot then.

LOL this is not a bug and you ignore me xD ? do what you want but is better tho change your tread to "not a bug" for making sim settlement better and report real bugs ... so kinggath and the team dont waste time on reading this tread ...

There might be a bug to this. I'm hardly an expert on everything Sim Settlements, so I'm just going through the basic stuff first. Y'know, like when someone asks another person why their computer isn't turning on, the first question you should ask is "is it plugged in?". It is called the KISS method: keep it simple, stupid. Start with the easy solutions and work your way up to the more complicated ones.

As a test, can you scrap anything that creates water and see if water goes into the negative?

If so, post what the negative is and we can go from there (then roll back your save to before you scrapped everything).

FYI, my Internal Water Recycler does have a "bug" - I forgot to add the "provides" water to settlement property -- will be fixed in the next patch.
It does, however, actually "produce" dirty water, and 33% of the time "Purified Water" directly into the workshop similar to scrap salvage type plots.
It is also limited to L1 at the moment as I haven't created L2 or L3 yet.

OK so I was a A'farm on my save when I remembered I had a pumping station there and a powered water pump.

After removing all water from A'farm and 10s, in build mode my bar is green, water is 999, when I look at the info for settlements in pipboy the number shows 4294.

I also delete Ideks logistics addon thingy too.

So the water recycler produces water and bottled water?.

After not paying attention and just loading it now after having a late diner, Afarm is showing in build mode as -7 water.

Ok, cool negative 7 water is probably dynamic needs - many different plot types use water. You can see which ones by looking at the plaque of any of them, or using the local plot report at the city planner's desk.

If you look at those things and determine that isn't the cause, I can check your save and see if there's something funky leftover from a patch.

I have marked this as not a bug, I am just going to have to take your word for it.

I tried to do Automatron but the walls kept going invisible at the final fight, and now my saves are corrupt, and the only ones working are from before I started building at Tenpines and Afarm.

Sorry for wasting your time.

No time wasted. The walls invisible during that fight sounds familiar to me, I think that's a common issue. Googling it, there are quite a few results, so I think that might be the case.

Is there anything else that makes you believe your saves are corrupt?

The invisible walls had never happened until I installed, that mod that added cut content to, I can't remember than place where you help Preston, I had allot of troubles after installing it.

I also couldn't go to Egret, I was using the city builder there, donated a bunch of scrap nothing popped up after 5mins about it, so left, then it kept crashing when I fast travelled there.

Which is why I just gave up and deleted all my saves, and will start a new maybe when the next patch comes out, just far too many problems since installing and removing that cut content mod.
