Solved Testing PANPC with SSQ

I am curently in testing phase for SSQ and PANPC and I would very much appreciate little help.
My PC specs are:
Ryzen 5 2600
SSD Kingston 120gb
Asus strix gtx 1050 ti 4gb
16 gb Kingston DDR4 2666MHz CL13 (HX426C13PB3/8) HyperX Predator Black

Curently have two outpost(starlight, oberland s.) and four vassals.Prebult done on all settlments that are alowed at level 2 on high settings. Don't have any soilder squed with me.
My question is: Based on my spec, when would expect lag in game only if you played with SSQ without PANPC? With how many outpost, vassals, population, soldiers? I diden't play SSQ very much, soo I realy don't have a felling about SSQ dynimics in game, how much it can take and how things unfold. Thanks in advance for any insight you can give.

I just wanted to take a moment here and lend another voice to this, as the author of PANPC.

For quite some time now, my official recommendation has been to not use PANPC and SS together. As of PANPC v1.92, however, I'm starting to feel comfortable enough with the PANPC codebase to move forward with general SS testing and compatibility work. Lazar has asked me to pop in over here and keep an eye out while we test.

Anyone with an interest in PANPC/SS integration, I'd like to hear from you. Truth is, hearing from you is the only way it's going to happen. So you can leave me a message here, visit on my Discord, comment on Nexus, whatever. Just wanted interested parties to know that I'm listening.

Thank you. To be honest I have used both together for at least 4 months now and have never had any major issues. I am very surprised that this is the case.

Then again I spend a lot of time tweaking and working on my LO so it might just be that I did something right from the beginning. Awesome to have you here however.

.
But you do you use it's full potential? In my testing everything is on and I use 2 cloning respawn with 100%. Basicly three times more enemies and all under PA controle.

Honestly. I just play the game. I am not trying to break it.
How do you play it, I wanted to ask? Which version do you use?On what settings?Could you post your load order? Sorry for this cunami of questions. Just want to see how you manage to play game for soo long with SSQ adn PANPC instaled.

The main problem in the past has been that PANPC tended to leave a lot of active scripts behind, mainly due to a couple of infinite loop bugs that have now been tracked down and fixed. Over time that would create save bloat and runtime latency, in turn made worse by the heavy NPC demands of SS (and Conqueror in particular). Most of that was finally fixed in 1.92, and there is a single loop bug involving workshop NPCs that was fixed in the current dev series of 1.93. I also greatly reduced the script sizes in the 1.9 series. Together, those fixes and changes should make PANPC significantly less heavy and easier to use in SS builds.

The latest 1.93 dev builds (available on my Discord) also prevent bound captives/enslaved NPCs from becoming PA-enabled if SS is present. It's a small change, but it's the kind of finer detail stuff we're looking at now in regards to SS integration.

In short, I'm glad you haven't had problems. I'm working to keep it that way. :)

I have just had my machine crash and in the process of rebuilding. Once it's done I will happily post my LO.

I have a 850+ mod LO at the moment but I do my own patching and merging. I keep my mods up to date and track new versions every day.

Most of my clothing and weapon mods get merged into one mod to fit under the maximum mod load order. I also check mod conflicts in FO4Edit and create patches when required.

I don't really often tweak settings for mods other then the one's from LL since I know them and what I want them to do. With it's default config PANPC does what it says on the tin and that I am happy with.

I do try and make sure mods are compatible and not have 2 mods doing the same thing.

Thank you for that. 850 mods??? How much would you take if I would give you list of mods and you patch them up soo I can play them? Kiding but I never got to that number even when I combine all mods for Skyrim, Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 :D That is serouse work right there when you manage to put that many mods together.

FYI: So, I'm starting to have issues in mid-game with a number of settlements, Conqueror, and PA NPC 1.92.

Just ran an assault on Nordhagen and it was a disaster. Crashed several times during the assault, restarted from just previous. The fighting was laggy as heck. After the assault, the place never processed correctly - waited onsite half an hour, left the cell for 2 ingame days, on day 2 I got the message that I had no guards and it had been recaptured. PA NPC throttling was at 0.15.

I goosed PA NPC throttling all the way up to 0.20, ran the assault again, and didn't have these issues. (There are still lots of issues, but they are being looked at.) Didn't crash during the assault, and at the end, instant completion and "You can now use the workshop." No delays. The fight itself was not laggy.

I think PA NPC is constantly fighting with Conqueror's processing of the Settlers, Civilians, and Warriors/Guards, as their status is changing constantly throughout post-processing. I have turned a number of profiles off, including friendlies, but just after an assault I don't think a lot of these NPCs count as friendly yet.

For reference, my machine has 12 physical cores and 32GB RAM - my understanding is that a throttling of 0.20 is excessive, yes? Probably shouldn't need to go that high?

I know you're still helping tune stuff so I thought you might want to know.

Thank you for reporting your findings. Could you tell how many outpost, vassals you have? At what level? Is automat upgrade turned ON? Did you activate SS trou holotape in Concord before taking over first outpost or after? What version of PANPC do you use?
In my test problems started when I prebuild cities on level 3. Can't attack the Starlight, crash on every try. On the other hand, on level 2 with turned ON automatic city upgrade, I manage to come to 14 settlemts(9 outpost and 5 vassals). Then I activeted SS trou holotape to build Red Rocket in Nuka World. After that the active script start to pilepu in my save.
As it seams, the best option is to prebuild on levele 2, turn off autoupdate, and if you want to develope settlements, doo that one or two in same time. Please report you findings on Greslin dicord channel so he can have a better picture of things.

Yeah, Greslin is working on that.

Basicly brainwash them. Vanila combat NPC would be better at that point.

Prebuild was level 1. So lots of automated upgrade stuff possibly being tracked in the background.
Automated upgrades for plots are on, except for Adv Industrial (the default).
SS activated via holotape before Outpost.
At the time of this assault, two outposts, a total of three vassals, and two "vanilla" settlements.
But note that I am already getting script pileup due to Conqueror issues being tracked, where once an assault is started, it never fully resolves in various ways. The faction skins script never ends (RL time over a week now on some of them), settlements are not fully processed, etc. So adding more Vassals or Outposts only compounds this.

What's Greslin's discord address?
