Taffington Hospital and Hostel started as a small roadside bar and workshop before some of the braver settlers decided to tackle the nearby super mutant colony living at the Mass Bay Medical Center. The settlers salvaged as much as they could from the Medical Center before the super mutants returned and started offering healthcare to travelers along with places to stay. The extra income allowed the settlers to expand their docks and offer more shops and recreational activities, making Taffington an excellent place to stop and rest while traveling the dangerous Commonwealth.
Supports 14 settlers + city leader
Add on packs used: Wasteland Ventures, Ruined Homes & Gardens, Sim Settlements Scrappers, Flotsam & Jetsam
Plot List
Agriculture: 4
Commercial: 3 + blue man
Industrial: 1
Martial: 3
Recreational: 2
Residential: 11 + 4 vanilla beds
Welcome to Taffington Hostel and Hospital! The settlement may be small, but we have something for everyone, especially if they need medical services.
Look to the left and we have our hostel with bunk rooms for men and women, a small room for some of our poorer settlers, and one of two workshops and the largest of three greenhouses.
Off to the right, we have the main apartment building and the second greenhouse. There’s also a small trading stand for the Bunker Hill caravans.
The docks hold three luxury homes, two shops, and the PartyBoat ™. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating and a nice view of the small fishing boat we use to ship surplus food, water, and medical supplies to nearby settlements. The main house's third story holds the last greenhouse and defense plot. The boss's home is on the front left and has a private porch and rowboat.
Enter the main house, where we have our restaurant and hospital. Our medical supplies were taken from the nearby Mass Bay Medical Center so we have some of the best care in the Commonwealth.
Exit the house towards the water and you’ll see the screened-in porch, sort of a necessity when bloodbugs and super mutants are your neighbors.
Here, we have the typical crafting stations but we’re also working on alternative transportation - rowboats.
Another aerial view of Taffington. The boss’s home is off to the left of the docks.
