Not a bug Super Mutants incorrectly spawned in with my Faction Pack Triggermen

A player provided some screenshots of well dressed Super Mutants having spawned in with the intended Triggermen from my Faction Pack. I do not have Super Mutants in that pack (unless by some strange reason Bethesda's vanilla Triggermen include mutants for some reason?). The player used the console command for spawning FP members, and got a few mutants. They were friendly until he fired on them, and they then became hostile.

That player had my FP and the Minutemen one installed.

With the Retro Clothing mod installed, they'd be the talk of the town. No one, and I do mean NO ONE would be belligerent in a bar or brothel with one of these as a bouncer (or proprietor).

Another mod author said that Super Mutants Redux adds mutants to the Triggermen faction (and have suits), which might be one way this can happen. I'm asking the player if they had SMR installed.
