Spreadsheet view of settlement plots on green screen

So, I’ve looked but haven’t found an accounting of plots across the settlement.

Granted the green screen has limitations but would be helpful if we could get a break down of what plots are producing, consuming, and bottlenecked by.

there’s only so much territory on the green screen so grouping by plot type might make more manageable & end user friendly.

I second this. Sim Settlements is awesomely reaching near basic Sim Cities / builder game levels and its empire system involves a complicated industrial sequence that often relies on a complex supply chain and inter-settlement trading. It's really hard unless you (and I've heard people actually do this) pull out a spreadsheet and go plot to plot, write the data down in like Excel and manually crunch numbers. I do enioy the numbers and management but manually figuring it out with Excel is too much for me mentally. The resource lists are a start but SS2 has so much potential for more infographic overlays.

Spreadsheets, charts, etc, I'd drool over a full settlement or empire report sheets system. Doesn't even have to be live, just data collected during its daily game day update (could be explainable by "it's an accountant settler who prepares you a report once daily").

I'm not a modder but I have heard that the pip boy games are coded in flash so I wonder if an interface could be coded in that for that. I wouldn't mind using the pip boy to pull up the gritty details while having the overlays as general guides.

The problem is the base ui that the SS2 team must work in is limited. GATH explains this nicely in his last live stream and in detail. Reports and more of them are high on the radar of quality of life additions and the report plot should be the tax collection one in my opinion.

It would be a lot of work, but it is theoretically possible to mod a gun (like the alien blaster) with a magic effect (and a script) so when you shoot a plot, it dumps the relevant data into a comma delimited log file easily turned into a csv.......
