Specifying Vertibird Landing Locations

Recently, installed the Flyable Personal Vertibird mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47187) that is working reasonable well. Is there a mod, vertibird landing marker, console command or "work-around" for specifying the landing spot for vanilla BoS vertibirds? Yesterday, at Greentop, I placed the Flyable Personal Vertibird landing pad, put the vanilla smoke grenade in the middle of the pad, and the vanilla vertibird did not even land close to the pad. At Boston airport, the vanilla vertibird then landed in the middle of one of my SimSettlements plots. Previously, I have moved the fast travel marker, but that did not work.
