As the title states, the quest starts just fine, Jake goes off into the sewers and I'm supposed to tune the radio.

What actually happens is my character sits down on the chair and I can't do anything except get up from the chair, cant even look around with my mouse. I looked up the video guide cause I figured I was doing something wrong, but it seems there's supposed to be a dialogue menu that shows up for me to tune the radio, but like I said all I get is just a first person view of the radio and no ability to do anything except getting up from the chair.

I thought it was because I was using the full dialogue interface mod, but even when removing it it's still not working

SOLVED! apparently turning on the Dialogue camera fixes it, I dont know i feel like they should've taken into account people turning that thing off but at least it works now.

I've found that reinstalling the latest workshop framework fixes this.

If you really don't want the camera in the normal view, keep a mental note on how the change this setting, you'll run into this a couple times. There are several quests that require the dialogue camera.

From the wiki (known issues section):

The vanilla option to Disable Dialogue Camera, and any mods that disable or modify the Dialogue Camera

  • Sim Settlements 2 requires the Dialogue Camera for its scenes and quests to run correctly. If you disable or modify the Dialogue Camera, you may not be able to complete certain quests and content.

Not to necro this but it is doing the same for me. This is a fresh install of FO4, fresh updated mods, I've played SS2 before and have done this quest. Dialog camera is on and I don't have XDI. I don't even have any mods that should modify either dialog nor the camera.

NEVERMIND. HAD TO CLOSE GAME AND RESTART.
