Try exiting to desktop and rolling back to a save just before exiting Vault 111. Make sure you give the game some time to run it’s scripts when you exit 111, particularly if you are using a heavy load order. I recommend waiting for all pop-ups to go away, then saving, exiting to desktop, and loading up the exit save. Sometimes this helps with script overload.

If that doesn’t work, try restarting your playthrough.

Yes i have done this and spent a little time in sanctuary pre-building the stuff needed for when Preston and the gang show up eventually one thing less to do and no popups at all.

i only have 61 mods & 231 plugins running atm not going to ad much more at the moment and using mo2 for the mod manager.

Game just randomly CTD so going to take a short break and the go back in and head off to red rocket and finger crossed Jake arrives this time.

thought i would let you know that starting again by exiting the vault worked a treat.

Glad that it worked! Sounds like it failed to initialize after exiting the Vault, which can happen sometimes. Glad you caught it early on
