Old Post Sim Settlements Hostel

Has anyone every considered building a hostel style building to implement into Sim Settlements? The reason I ask is I have/had an extremely large settlement in Sanctuary. It was massive 50-55 settlers all with their own Res Plots. As I soon discovered from other members on this board the game engine will in fact start to break down I kind of brushed it off as "I'm right at that limit, Ill leave it where it is not build anymore and scrap as much useless crap around as possible..Trees, Piles of Leaves..etc..etc." Literally not 24 hours after opening and having this discussion I experienced my first "Glitch" so to speak. I was in the middle of clearing out some junk from my settlement and "BAM!" I beat the game...lol! I had literally not even done a quarter of the story line quests and there I was seeing end game. Not to mention CTD started happening today after having a successful play through at that point with zero CTD. I was wondering if possibly one Large Hotel, Hostel, Barracks or Apartment for the more average Settlers would help alleviate some of this while still allowing a fairly decent population within your Sim Settlement....well Settlement..lol I dont know that much about how our game engine works and I'm currently going back through all of KingGaths youtube videos on the mod to try and pick up as many tips and tricks as possible.

EDIT: I apologize in advance for any Grammatical errors, I'm traveling to VIR for work and don't have access to my desktop pc

In the Year One Mega Pack, there's a residential ext plot called Victorian Doss House by Jib. It has nine beds, that's the largest I know of. There may be more.
Nice, I haven't come across that one for some reason. I do have that Pack,. Ill go through and manually build one when I get a chance. Have any locatoin recommendation for a decent settlement build? Im looking around and really cant find one I like. Do you know how well Sim Settlements performs on Spectacle Island?

Hangman's Alley is probably my favourite, it's small so ya have to get creative. I wish there was more down town settlements, but the game would never handle it. After that it's the Slog, Jamaica Plain, Oberland Station, Nordhagen Beach and Greygarden. I dislike Sanctuary the most.

As for Spectacle, it is built across two cells so when you're one end of the island the other unloads, meaning all info plus textures stop processing. I don't know for sure but this must cause havoc for SS, so I'm guessing that's why there's no city plans for there.

I didn't realize that SI was across two different cells, I might give Greygarden a try and see how things work there.

@Phil_T_Casual being a fan of hangman's alley I was wondering if you have tried the below:
It is a great example of what happens when "Previsualization and Precombinations" are fixed. It is now by far one of my largest, most stable and best FPS preforming settlement. Even built out it stays near 60fps.

See the video. The video isn't so great but the mod is.

@Ninjai_Ruken the "Victorian Doss House by Jib from the mega pack is a great choice. Additionally, @RobotsSmell has an excellent choice also:
Sim Settlements Addon - RS Buildings
BunkHouse
Adds a main bunkhouse plot that allows 5 extra internal plots to be snapped into place.
(Instructions spawned in at level 1 of the main plot)

I took the catwalks out at the Slog and am using two of the RS-bunkhouses

Yes, hahahaha! I put blue men on the spring rockets, It is hilarious seeing the Ghouls use them,

I had to slip in a shot of one of @uituit raider windmills in the background. He needs a little love too...:jester
Even way out from the vanilla boarders the NPC's still path very well to the top floor "3d story"

Slog 4.jpg

Slog 7.jpg
A great choice for 2x2 spaces with multi-beds. Note: I have not gotten to level #3 yet as I use realistic build time.

I cannot express enough of my joy and satisfaction with the above two mods.

Sweet, Ill for sure give some of these a shot once I return home. Love my job but I'm either super busy without time to do anything or sitting at home watching paint dry for a month.

Some of the Wasteland Ventures 2, residential plots (town houses) you can choose how they level up with options to make them either multi-bed or a player room.

Quick Question, Was this included in the Year 1 or 2 Mega Pack?

NVM, I was able to find the info on my phone. LoL...Navigating Nexus or anything on my cell for that mater is not very efficient.

The Wasteland Ventures add-ons are well worth picking up, loads of well made plots. Most have stories or little surprises blended into them.

I was checking my download history on the Nexus and I had WV1 I was looking at WV2 on the nexus and it says that there is an All in One that includes them both. I am literally at my mod limit of 254 so I will uninstall the first one and get the all in one package
