Sim Settlement 2

I know I am way late to this, I just returned to fallout 4 after getting a new pc. I remember sim settlement and the expansions. I see there is SS 2, as well as chapter updates. Do I get rid of my sim settlement three in one, or does it stay? Also, if I get SS2, and then need Chapter 2, do I keep both installed and enabled? Sorry, if these seem like dumb questions. I just don’t want to break my game.

Yes, SS2 is incompatible with everything SS1-related. So you'd want to start a new game for this. Chapter 2 can be installed later but it would probably be recommended to install it and enable it alongside SS2.

Also note that SS2 is a pretty massive mod. It may not play well with other script-heavy mods. Or rather, the Creation Engine may not like having the extra work. Just like war, that old engine never changed. :D

And as Antoine mentioned, starting a new game is ideal.
