Screenshots of Add-on plots added to the wiki?

There are so many different plots, that do fit in different environments, and it sure takes some time to test them in game, to see which might fit best. I took a peek at the WIKI and there is only screenshots of the plots that comes with SS2 right? What if we could add a section below, under each sub section, with the add-on plots made by the community? I could help with it as well, I guess, add 2-5 plots a day to it, add from which mod and which author that made it and add the link to the Nexus site as well. I do guess it gets easier that way for the player that likes to make custom builds to choose the most proper plots.

The benefit for myself is that I will get a good view of all designs, to make it easier for me to add the right plots at the right spots for sure.

I did choose city plans my last play through but I felt I was not really part of those cities and stuff where also added that I liked less, so I do it in another way this new play through, where I will custom-build everything, even if it will take a lot of time, I will do it and I like the result I made so far and later I will try to add them as city plans as well. One step in a time. I do feel much more engaged in each city now, even if I only built 4 up to now, during a week and it does not matter really how long time it will take. ;)

Currently, we add links to Building Plan Add-ons, Modded Settlements that are known to work correctly, City Plans, Outpost Plans, Leader Packs and other miscellaneous mods that kinggath calls out on his streams, or are recommended by our players to add, or the mod author asks to have a link to their building plans added: Available Add-Ons
We're obligated to publish images of building plans provided by Sim Settlements 2.
Mod Authors have images of their building plans on their mod pages. I don't believe we need to add them to our Wiki as well.

I do think it would have been good or even best to also have a single place to see the add-on plots really, as I do know that each author have their own screenshots at each Nexus page, but to get the whole picture, that will demand a lot of clicking around for sure. I am convinced that a single place, would have been the best solution in the long run.

I could set up a WIKI of my own as well and we later might see how far I can I take it. I do guess after a while I will get all plots stored in my head anyway, but that's just a wild guess but I would like to have such a site at this very moment really.
:grin
What I do know is that it will require a lot of work and take a lot of time.
:shok
It also means I need to test every SS2 plot add-on but that will also be extremely fun really to do really.

It would be great but honestly it's an (almost) impossible project. Just keeping a list of all add-on building plans (like I kinda did here... for some time... gotta get back to it) requires a ton of maintenance, adding pictures for everything is.. something else :)

Yes, I know. :agree: I built webpages before, the old way, for 30 years ago and it sure took much more and longer time than expected and it sure got boring and frustrating after a while. But I plan to do it slowly, a tiny bit then and then, specially during weekends when I am at my GFs flat and cannot play the game. I also need to complete the tutorial as I made a new play through, again after a lot of changes in my modlist, to avoid junk in my savefiles.

You'd need to make thousands of screenshots, not to mention build all those plots somewhere and level them up. Then make a whole lot of pages for it. At some point it stops being a full time job and becomes just mostly maintenance, sure, but idk :)

We will happily add a link on the SS2 Wiki to your Wiki when it's ready with some content @Pekkape. Just let me know.
