Scavenger Dispatcher Beacon Power

Hi, I've just started using this mod and really like it - especially the Scavenger Support. Great work - thank you.

I built the Scavenger Support plot and if I examine the beacon on the roof it says it requires one power but I can't attach a wire to or from it. The plot itself has power and there's a static wire coming from the plot pole the switch, which allows me to activate it but does nothing.

Is the beacon just for show or am I missing something?

The showing "requires power" is an engine limitation. Basically instead of checking the objects "IsPowered()" function, they just check if a wire with sufficient power is attached. This means that alternative methods of powering objects (like using the plots) can cause some visual bugs at times.

You will find some purely decorative beacons on levels 2 and 3 of that plot, however you'll find those can't be interacted with at all.
