I don't want to rush this out tonight, so I'm posting it as a public beta first and will push it live tomorrow if people have success with it.

The one quest I'm most concerned about is Scavver's Delight, I'm trying a new method for detecting when all raiders inside the station are dead, and if I did it correctly, the quest should run smoother - if I did it poorly the quest will probably bug out instead.... I gave it a quick test, but always prefer confirmation from several others.

If any of you is up for giving that a go and getting back to me, I can make the determination tomorrow evening if I should push this live of continue working.

Otherwise, this patch attempts to do the following:
  • Attempted to fix an issue some players were having with Cedric Mansfield not acknowledging the player had the Robco Schematics in their inventory.
    • I have been unable to replicate this, so will probably need a save with the issue if this patch does not resolve it.
  • Fixed a bug that would prevent Boston Public Library from being considered a valid location during Picking up the Pieces.
  • In Who Can ASAM, if choosing the leader didn’t work previously, talking to one of the choices should now trigger the choice code to run again and prompt you with the settlement select menu.
  • In Who Can ASAM, you should no longer be warned about the person you chose as leader needing to be assigned to a desk.
  • Fixed a bug in Casting a Line where selecting the Awareness perk path would then continue on to the bribery scene.
  • Fixed a bug with the Assign City Leader function at the City Planner’s Desk.
  • Fixed a bug where Cola would follow the player forever under some circumstances.
  • Made a change to the quest Scavver’s Delight to try and make it more reliably detect when all raiders are dead inside the station.

For those of you who reached out about Beta testing, I will try and get back with you tomorrow to get you into the appropriate channels!

I just happened to be on If I had a Hammer on my new playthrough when I read your post, so I went right ahead and installed the Beta to do some testing, and I'm happy to have only positive results to report so far. (On a side note, I'm on a pretty heavy mod list on this particular save.)

Casting a Line: I made sure to pick up the Awareness Rank 1 Perk before starting this. Used this dialogue option (didn't even know this existed until now), and wasn't forced into the bribery scene, but was able to resolve the situation with no shots fired instead. Enjoyed the Raider's and Jake's new lines, everyone sets out to leave. One little detail that could use some additional polish somewhere down the line: One of the hostages stayed in the kneeling hands up position when everyone else was getting up, and the Raiders started to return after a couple of seconds. But no more hostilities... ... and the quest completed just fine. This bug is fixed.

Scavver's Delight: I cleared out Olivia Station before picking up the quest on purpose, to see if that would break stuff. It didn't. Everyone but Ack-Ack had respawned when I returned with Jake, only a few game hours later. The Quest progressed smoothly: Killed the Vanilla Raiders again, including the two (?) additional ones added by the mod spawning near Jake at the terminal. Jake was waiting for me around the corner, could speak to him, quest progressed and finished without any hickups. The detection you're concerned about worked perfectly for me.

Update: I went ahead and reached the point where I just finished New Plots on the Block. Not a single issue so far.
Am especially delighted to see Cola now following Old Paul, since she kind of bugged out for me in the last playthrough where she got stuck in place in the middle of Sanctuary. Mansfield also behaved nicely. Would like to push through until Who can ASAM to also test that quest, but I'm not sure if I mange today.

i haven't gotten far enough in any of the content for the other bugs this hotfix addresses, but i can confirm that with 1.0.0g as soon as i built stairs so there was a proper nav path, cola immediately did the pathfinding thing and ran to paul.

(paul still doesn't take food for her, but i imagine that's expected since it wasn't stated as being fixed in the notes)
 
Here is my first quick overview on 1.0.0g trial
  • Handing in "Vim and Vigor"
  • yadda yadda
  • loading firmware
  • yadda yadda
  • receiving new plots
  • went to red rocket (no new plots, no resources display)
  • went to sanctuary (no new plots, no resources display, no HOLO on some plots)
1.0.0g did not fix my issues with not showing new plot types.

I did check and set anew on ss2 table before this shot "TAB ) Back" did not work now?!?

after a long time the AR on missing plots showed up - will wait longer and see if plots show up :D
Alt-tabbing back now Fallout froze again in workshop mode. never had that with 1.0.0d
Will reboot, double-check and report progress

Restarted Fallout from last save...
resource info finally came up again in workshop mode (took quite a while sitting in workshop mode)
AR catched up on all buildings, takes a while for them to vanish after leaving workshop mode
now waiting for the plots to show up in buildings menu and all is fine then :D

The Icons never showed up, but I CAN build a commercial plot "around some corners!"

  • Place a sensor
  • Select it and use "customize"
  • Then select the type and building plan you want

I think that settler isn't actually from the settlement didn't recognize em, and cause if you go the violent route they always die instantly after the conversation and I think they also somehow died even though I didn't finish the conversation, and blitz killed every single raider.

I did notice once after bribing after a while the settler just started smoking?

The settler that remains happened in version f and in fact he is still there along with some of the raiders. That settler also was not one of mine, lol.
 
No issues with Scavver's Delight using Awareness Perk nor Scavver's Delight!

The one settler who was kneeling with his hands in the air during Scavver's delight eventually got up and walked away during my conversation with Jake.

Running with Horizon 1.8 and no conflicts either.
 
Thanks for trying it out all! Pushing the patch live now.

@Tommyk New Plots on the Block is on my list for deep troubleshooting next. Hopefully I can work out any quirks tonight.
