Threw together a quick public beta to fix some issues folks were reporting regarding main quest stuff and crashing in a certain menu. I also had a few other fixes ready to go so merged them in as well!
  • Fixed a bug that would cause Jake to walk outside of the building during Hub of the Problem causing the quest to get locked up.
    • If you experienced this issue, return to the lobby shortly after this save loads, Jake should be teleported to the lobby and the scene will resume.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the “New Power Pole” screen to crash for some users.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Amara Blackmoon’s quest from being able to be turned in.
  • Fixed a large number of grammar, spelling, and mismatched subtitle issues in the first 4 quests of the main quest line and several side character quests. (Thank you Lively!)
    • Many more subtitle issue fixes to come!

Ok just downloaded the Beta and the quest with Jake not going into Vault Tech HQ worked great. Thanks a ton for getting this fixed super fast. Kinggath you and your team are amazing. Keep up the great work.

  • yadda yadda, I mark it on your map, lead the way
  • Jake, Piper and me go to entrance (not in fight)
  • Piper and I go inside
  • we kill the ghouls that jumped us
  • and then we wait but jake never follows

Was going to suggest clicking on Jake in console, then using 'moveto player' once inside (how I got past this quest before the update - he triggered fine once he was inside after hanging out, unresponsive, at the amphitheater for a bit in my game), but glad it finally actually worked properly for you!

(The false start for me also got me to look at the computer in the office - you can read all the messages that Jake describes if you like! I enjoyed that, and kudos to the writer(s))
 
for some reason hub of the problem worked perfect for me before the 1.0.1 patches the 1.0.1 basically i had to use console commands to get him in the building so what ever was happening in the 1.0.0m or 1.0.0L patch worked fine. have a few saves around that quest time i may install this patch tomorrow and try the save see what happens.

With NMM there is a 99% chance it is going to F#$^^$% UP the installation of a mod more than 5kb.

Directly unzip the download to your /Data folder manually. There is a good chance that your problems will disappear like magic....
 
In Hub of the Problem, when you first talk to Jake there's an option to ask him about his armor and he responds about feeling "under-dressed". But my game doesn't show him wearing any noticeable armor. Is that a bug/possible conflict or an oversight?

He was supposed to wear a custom armor but that was cut from the release.

Thanks for your point of view but my experience using NMM is totally different

I am using NMM for years and it never let me down.
Was trying Vortex for a week because all told me it is sooo much better
It totally messed up everything. Had to download all of FO 37gigs again. Well, now I have a clean backup /data on my SSD

Was adding a tiny mod (QuiterSettlements) and it never got activated (vortex said installed and 'activated' it without error but it never did)
Also vortex clutters the filestructure with "managed by vortex" files, which it never removed on de-install
I never place files without backup! 20+ years in IT teached me to regret drop-overwriting files without backup:grin
I am using JSGME if I ever need to drop files. It handles all the backup/restore like for F4SE and scripts. Old but still nice little tool

Also, Jake not entering building is hardly a failure of NMM
SS2-openbeta is 1 File to replace! either it is there or it is not.
I switched all the SS2 betas and mods with it A LOT. Not a single install fail.
I have Old World Radio installed. smooth 6gig download. Many big files. No Problem at all
I stay with my trusty NMM but thank you very much for your point of view! :agree:

Nope, that is no missing texture. It is a mod showing me doors in blue if I am ever got lost navigating in buildings and want it. Yes, I am that lazy :grin

Well, in the 1.1 version I suddenly get the panels show up (it don't in any previous versions)! I don't do nothing, only happens. I'm happy! Then I install this patch. I hotkey to show the panels and yes, are there, but if I enter in workshop mode the panels never come back after exit.:suicide2
 
In the Corvus family quest, after talk with Raven, the option "send to" appear, and I send her to Starlite Cinema. I meet her there especting send me to rescue the brother, but when I arrived, the supposdly kidnaped was in front of me,"auto-rescued" and the mission end.

Other strange thing is the left arms in some characters (Raven and Docker) have their left forearm invisible. (Sorry about the red, dunno what the heck happens)

I am trying to start up New Plots On the Block. At the point where Jake says to listen what happens when he bypasses the the vault hub the game just goes into limbo. The game doesn’t freeze, it’s just that Jake never moves on to actually bypassing the vault hub and the story doesn’t progress. I just updated to the latest version today. I’ve restarted my Xbox and that hasn’t helped. Any ideas?

Having the same issue as well but on pc after updating from 1.0.0g to 1.0.1 and 1.0.1a.

Update: Reverted back to 1.0.0g and was able to continue the quest regarding new plot types. Changing back to 1.0.1a had a bug where interacting with Jake at Sanctuary during "New Plots on the Block" result in endless "let's trade" dialogue. Sticking with 1.0.0g for now.

Ok so this new hotfix solved the problem we got close to the door then attacked by super mutants then after that was done I tried entering the building and he was inside with me and dialog was working.

Thanks for the fix now I just need a option to remove the city plan at the desk so it can be reloaded since the rebuild doesn’t work once you have scrapped the city plan. Also on the scrapping side it seems the buildings come down easier now still some lag but no remaining building parts or stuff like that. Just takes a min or so for it to remove everything def better then it was when first tried it.

side side note the plot refresh bug is still around I left sanctuary to go capture the castle and explore the south a while had a bunch of buildings upgrade during this, I came back to 18 beds when I should only have 10 none of the plots where multi plots either. Thanks for the hard work and I’ll say this is a huge improvement from day 1 game play and settlement stuff.

I'm having the same problem and refresh plot works for everything except the internal plots. When I hit refresh on some nothing happens others it refreshes the exact same way with all the collisions
 
Hi, crew. After finished with all the first round of quests from The Ron got the message I must take more missions from him. I'm going to his office but talking not give nothing. Is intended and we must wait Ron make a call or is bugged? Thanks
