Old Post (Potential Conflict Bug)

I think I discovered a Potential Conflict Bug that may have already been mentioned but I could not find it. I had a nice small settlement with two different play troughs and experienced this bug. The first occurrence I downloaded Spawnable Unique Settlers to add a little bit of customization to my settlers. I started a new playthrough, Shortly after spawning 3 settlers and customizing them I can no longer fast travel or get close to that settlement without a CTD. I have tried every trick in the book clean saves..etc..etc. and the problem is still there. I thought I would give a little test to see if it was in fact and issue between the two mods. I started a new play through with SS and after 6 hours of play with my settlement at the Drive In. I performed a clean save, installed the mod and spawned in one settler, customized him using console commands and left. Sure enough, I can not fast travel, walk to or even get close to that settlement without a CTD. Just wanted to make others aware of this. Posted link to the mod in questions

Ok, I hate questioning this hypothesis right up front but it makes no sense that it is conflicting with Sim Settlements or WSFW.

Secondly, I have used this particular mod since it's release and never experienced a conflict with it or any Sim Settlement mod or add on.

You may have another conflict with another mod but spawnable unique settlers is about as safe of a mod as I have ever seen.

This said, I can not say there couldn't be a conflict in your game but mods conflict all the time
and neither should be considered at fault. All a conflict really is, is a choice if fixing it is beyond a users experience.

As is, if removing SUS fixes your problem that is a good thing but I doubt it is a mod that SS users should be avoiding.

Edit: I don’t want to seem rude or anything like that but it is more likely that a mod you have that modifies settlers is maybe the issue which may not even be a conflict per-say just a texture, skeleton something maybe applied in a preset you are using or applying?

I was more thinking it was on the part of SUS and not SS itself. The only edit I do to the NPCs is what would be considered Vanila asset editing I dont add tattoos custom skins or anything of the nature. At least I wasnt planning to until I found out if stuff was stable. But it did cross my mind that maybe I have another mod that works fine with one or the other but not both togeather. And when SUS is installed thats when the conflict arises. I wasnt trying to dissuade anyone from using it and you kind of answered part of what I was wondering. If someone else might have experienced the same issue. I probably should have added more details but I'm working a race at Virgina International Raceway. So it can be hard for me to post some information as I travel a lot

I appolagize for any grammatical errors, I'm on my cell

one settler, customized him using console commands
This stood out to me. What commands? Customized how? Is using the console to cusomize sus settlers the normal way that mod is used?
If you do a savegame without SimSettlements, but WITH sus, and do the same thing - spawn in one dude, customize the exact same way, and test - do you still crash?

No, when either is installed with a clean save by themselves there are no issues, you spawn a settler and customize them using the slm co.mand along with their tagged ID it requires looksmenu to use
