Sometimes I want to place a row of plots somewhere , but then I notice, that they aren't properly aligned to the ground, or something like that. So I want to hold-E-grab them and move them around, only it doesn't work on plots. Or I built a large-ish building with interior plots, and want to adjust it's position somewhat.
Both gets even worse once the plots actually initialized, with the knockdown confirmations appearing.

What I'm proposing is something simple: two plot-like activators, one for interiors, one for exteriors. They can be built, stored, and hold-E-grabbed together, but they aren't actual plots. Instead, once you are done building, you exit workshop mode, activate them, and turn them into actual plots. Similar to how "change plot type" works.

So dummy plots that have manual AND auto activate xx seconds/minutes after leaving WS mode feature.
That would be really nice for the less astute builders. *cough* like me *cough* LOL!

If i understand. A Two-step activation toggle would be really fantastic.

maybe allow the placed plot to stay dormant?

I have been having to lay all the exterior foundations first and connecting them to get them aligned. Problematic for plots that do better with no foundation or elevation particularity’s. Kind of the same for interior, having to build a framework building that looks like swiss cheese before getting it adadding the interior plots then filling it in with plots and the rest of the structure.

I was happy having the foundations removed. Something like this would tie in perfectly.

They did improve the interior plot snap points. a LOT. You *might* have to move a single wall tile to get one started, but the wall always snaps right back in now.

Yeah, It is great! My usage of interior plots is much more now. I like to build, clutter not so much. my usage of interior plots is way over 50% of my usage of the mod. In fact they are the reason I use the 3 in 1 and ROTC.

If someone told me they have performance benefits..... :santa I would scream like a little :kiss and only use some of the full size industrial and martial in the light of day:moil

Hahaha, did I say how much I like the interior plots?

Would it be simpler if it were possible to choose longer delay times (like say, 1 hour) until the plots start building? Seems like that would be something that could be chosen in the settings.

yes, that would help.
That, or a "don't initialize plots until you exited WS mode" setting.
