Im on Xbox, I don’t use city plans, in order to get all of the build limit available when I get to a settlement I always use the town gavel and scrap the settlement which seems to be a bit is a misnomer. It picks up loose items and make the rest disappear (not scrapped as I don’t see any extra materials in the workshop afterward. Which is fine, I don’t mind too much.
But there are situations where I’d rather not scrap everything (like a kid’s bed since despite my best efforts kids don’t start using residential plots). Since I don’t think it’s possible to protect items, would it be possible to have the part of the system that picks up loose items available on its own? It would help with build limit (and general cleaning the place) and if I had to manually scrap the rest in settlement with special situations like this (another example could be mechanist pair) it wouldn’t be that bad.
