No Holotape, No ASAM!

There is no holotape! I downloaded this mod with a fresh start, i checked all the installation videos and followed every help guide. I have the correct files in the data folder i tried to do a clean save, no matter what i do the holotape doesn't show up, neither do the boxes. i know exactly where they are, I even went to the 2nd location southeast and It's not there either. Please help!!!
 
Did you install it manually? If so, consider using a program to install it for you (either Nexus Mod Manager, or just through the in-game mods menu). Otherwise, please hold for a more qualified help specialist.
 
If you look in the in-game mod menu, there should be a Load Order option. When you select that, does Sim Settlements appear?

My game actually doesn't have an in game mod menu. Idk why. But I've tried other mods and they all work. It says active in my mods and plugin section in nmm.
 
then your using a pirated out dated version of the game. as of 1.4? 1.5 the menu has been there. the most common version ppl download are 1.2.9 you need to hit google and update. SS requires the last version of fallout to run(1.9.4).

Ok thats most likely it. I'm using 1.4.9 I think. Which I though was the latest.
 
It worked. Thank you. having lots of fun. Quick question. Do the plots always have to be so high? I'd like to build concrete but its all lifted.
 
Are you using the Spring Cleaning mod? Plots not sinking correctly is a possible bug with that mod. If so, Scrap Everything has worked good for me so far.
