"New Plots on the Block" won't complete

Watched Jake build the 3 plot types, the quest greyed ewach of them out, but 'watch Jake build' is still uncompleted (and still bold-faced). Waited about 3 game-days, he & Sam followed me around the Commonwealth.

I had a similar issue - putting multiple plots down in one go caused this to glitch for me with the same symptoms.
I had to restart the quest from an earlier save and made sure I only built one plot at a time, and wait a few minutes after I was prompted to build each new plot.

Also, and again if you have an earlier save, you can tell Jake to skip the demonstration and bypass this quest.

i am stuck on this one i want to meet Jake and he is just standing there i try to talk to him all it come up with lets trade I reload i save and still nothing so i log off came back today and still noting anyone have a idea whats going on ??

Stuck as well all quests are completed yet all Jake will do is follow me around any attempts to 'Talk' to Jake just brings up to trade items, even tried going to an earlier save and go thru each new plot one at a time to no avail

If you have realistic build times enabled, do yourself a gigantic favor and turn it off, at least during the quest line.

Fixed it by doing a little extra searching, first ran across this ==> https://wiki.simsettlements2.com/gameplay/main-story/New-Plots-on-the-Block
which gave me the quest ID SS2_Sirick_MQ10, use getstage it was at 245, used setstage to set it to 250 and now seems fine

I'll leave this thread open for other users, but I did a fresh install of FO4 and this new play through I haven't had this particular problem. Acouple of others, but not this particular problem.
