New Plots on the Block problems

I've elected to allow Jake to show me the new plot types & built a military, rec, and commercial (in that order) plot, but once the commercial plot was completed, the quest does not progress. Jake and Old Paul just follow the sole survivor around the settlement, but nothing further happens. If I try to leave the settlement by fast travel, CTD. If I leave the settlement on foot, both Jake and Old Paul follow.

Also, on a sidenote, HUD not working at all, despite checking settings via the city planner's desk.

Similar problems in this quest. Jake offered to show me the new plot types, I accepted, and then met him and Old Paul in Sanctuary. Once there, Jake's dialog repeated a extra time which is probably not a good sign. He asked me to put down a new plot type, but all I see are the original 3 (Agricultural, Residential, Industrial).

I have the latest of the mods and this quest acts just like the original post states. Jake will do the commercial plot no problem, and the martial plot no problem, but the leisure plot = stopped dead. A ton of popups for the various new plots available all over the place, plus for some reason there is only ONE leisure plot, a VFX experimental mall. Are there no other leisure plots at this point?

I reloaded and tried again. Commercial plot no problem. Leisure plot next instead of the martial plot, stopped dead. Martial plot placed down, still nothing.

Also, is there a reason random bits of music play in the settlement? Is that part of the dynamic soundscape? I hope not. It doesn't make any sense, and they only last a moment. If I wanted a radio, I'd place a radio.

Hmm - unable to replicate this, but I'll do some more experiments soon.

RE: Soundscape, yep little bits of music occasionally. The soundscape is an optional feature, so feel free to toggle it off if it's driving you mad. If you like some of it, but not certain sounds, I'll be explaining how to make adjustments to it when I have time to write the builder's toolkit.

but the leisure plot = stopped dead
Turns out I should NOT have chosen the 3x3 size plots. Needed to stick with the 2x2. Once I redid that the quest moved along entirely without incident.

Yeah, the music just starts and end suddenly rather than a fade or something. A bit jarring.
