My game keeps freezing and I have to force close it on the main menu, not a typical CTD.

I closed the game to go and do irl stuff and came back the next day, and the game just freezes and stops responding on the main menu screen after about 5 seconds. I cannot for the life of me figure out what happened. Nothing has changed, I haven't added or removed any mods. This has lasted for about a month now and I still can't load a save. I can't even press "LOAD" before the game freezes. I've updated my drivers and still nothing. I am at a loss, I truly cannot figure out what is causing this to happen. I've changed absolutely nothing. One day it worked, and then ever since the next day, I can't open the game anymore.

If you have steam have it check the files are ok. You may need to reinstall Fallout 4. So long as you keep your save and the exact same mods you should be able to set up your save file safely.
