I'm in the process of building up sanctuary to be a city like thing - I got 20 settlers.
2 3x3 food plots
4 martial plots
Water/electric/caravan/comm municipal
2 plots for collecting build material
1 plot for collecting organic material
1 plot for collecting machine parts
some recreational plots
Bunch of storage containers
My current issue is that with the material plots I net about 85 steel a day, 24~ cloth a day.
I got 2 multi person homes in the entire settlement. Both level 2, one of them eats up 18 wood, 24 steel, 6 Asbestos, 18 cloth, 6 Ceramic.
So these two homes alone eat up two thirds of my steel production, more than 100% of my clothing production.
Single person homes are world's apart in upkeep cost. So my question is - is this even desired behavior? Am I missing something?
In any case, I'd vote for lowering the upkeep of multi person homes to something that makes them viable to have in your city - right now I simply "can't afford" to have them.
What do these settlers do that they need so much clothing and steel to get through the day?
