allow the player to choose a single companion with a good solid perk to get if one goes the romance route. Unless... the companion doens't mind(make it rare as to provide variety to players). Then allow the player not just a perk benefit, but also a faction benefit to siding or romancing a particular companion.
Totally agree. My first two playthroughs, I was a typical male and wooed every cute girl who would be my companion. Even installed a couple of mods, including Vermillion Frost who can't be romanced, but had a lot of fun with her anyhow. My third one, I stayed faithful to Piper and was just friends with the rest. The fourth one I was with Cait for a while, but she's a bit too whack for me so I went back to Piper. For my fifth I decided to give Curie a try after I found out she wanted to be Human somehow, and found out that she was an adorable girl with a fun mix of savvy and naivete, while becoming quite a romantic. Now I'm stuck on her as my wife, and I'm totally happy being faithful to one girl. Who, yes, I still drag along with me into dangerous situations. But then she wouldn't want to stay behind, always asking to travel with me again when I'm forced to send her home to have a mission specific companion. Those are some rather sad moments for me.
Id love to check out that dungeon. Where did you find it?
Well, I'm an idiot. I tried one more time to google up some trace of it, and found that it's a feature in the mod
FN FAL - SA58 (plus Kukri). I downloaded it a couple of years ago, so I completely forgot that part. It isn't very big but man, is it a blast! I love the FN FAL a lot too, a 7.62 NATO beast of a rifle, which also makes a great sniper. It and the FN SCAR-H are perfect for when your 5.56mm rifle just doesn't have the stuff to deal with your enemies at higher levels. The Bone Zone is located maybe a half mile northwest of Ten Pines Bluff. The icon is a pile of three cars.
