Solved Mechanized makeover quest item bug

Not sure if this is a big or if I'm just doing it wrong but when I try to drop off the components at the war planners desk the advanced memory module and prototype processing unit say I can't trade them or drop them. I've also tried talking to jammer and Ophelia and nothing happens

You have to get real close to the war desk, move Jammer out of the way if he's at it.
