Map markers

Ive been poking around forums and stuff and it seems to me that disabling the vanilla marker and replacing it with a custom one is within the game's ability.

I know very little so Im not sure if its accurate. But it seems like it. Just need 4 icons.

Sim Settlement, Outpost, Vassal, HQ.

Don't we have an Icon for HQ? We have Icons for the other 3 (Vanilla, Outpost, Vassal), through NukaWorld.
I've seen mods do this, not just NW, so yes, it should be possible (easy..? Don't know)
