Suggestion Make mass slaving more space efficient

When I make a slaver outpost one of the most annoying things are that the slaves take up all the residential plots/ beds.
What I think would make housing large amounts of people (+10) much easier is having some sort of heavy residential plots that can house more then 1 person in them but the more people you cram in one plot the bigger the hit to happiness is however when you use it on slaves it just doesn’t have an impact on happiness cause y’know there slaves. Also if slaves auto assigned to these “heavy residential” plots it would be a great quality of life improvement cause then I don’t have to go around and manually assign slaves away from normal beds and residential plots.

Make a big scrappy building with plenty of sleeping mattresses tightly packed in and assign the slaves to the beds. That's what i do. As long as it has walls and a roof you should be good to go.

Can I find it absolutely hilarious the amount of irony to hear someone asking for a “quality of life improvement” to make slavery easier on him as a slaver?

I can’t talk about the slavery and how it’s auto-assign work but as far as space efficiency, I’d recommend looking at RS Buildings Bunkhouse. There is also Jib’s residential Victorian Doss House that is a residential plot with 8 extra sleeping bags for homeless.

A flophouse/dosshouse plot would be a nice touch for cities that start off under the yoke.

that said, when I took over settlements, they already had traditional non-slum lord housing per the city plan (eg Abernathy). upgrading by downgrading would be a curious (if not perverse) take in vassal development
