Question Looking for anyone who gets the consistent, reproducible client crash on exit with Conqueror active

EDIT: As this is a known issue, can anyone else experiencing this post here or PM me their load order? I'd like to see if I can figure out what we all have in common.

-----
I have a number of active savegames. Only one of them has Conqueror *active* but I have not disabled or uninstalled it in any of the others.
In the active Conqueror playthrough, any attempt to exit the game crashes the client. It freezes, only a taskkill will get rid of it. I can exit to the menu, but I can't exit to the desktop at all - not from the menu, not from in the game - without it freezing.
I can save, load, start, exit, etc. any combination using any other saves - but as soon as I load the Conq game, trying to exit the client causes it to freeze.

Normally, when exiting the client, the music and all sounds stop instantly, then the screen is refreshed / cleared.
With this bug, as soon as I select exit to desktop, the mouse pointer freezes, the client becomes unresponsive, I can't minimize or alter screen, and the music / sounds keep playing.
It seems like I've hit some edge case where there's a script that REALLY doesn't want me to go off and leave it alone.

Thanks for excellent suggestion , MrCJohn and Slb1.
I've whittled down my mod count to sub 100 - not counting esl VIS-G patches.
Took BiRaitBec's list this time (no experimenting... sacrilege!) and didn't install anything non-essential - except Thuggymurf's Depravity/Valkyre.
So far so good. MrCJohn's baked save saved me lots of time while testing. Kudos on that one.

Just know that VIS-G in itself can/will cause issues. It hogs down the memory and processing and will cause CTD's... at least for me. I have for some time now, have not installed DEF_UI or VIS-G and yes, means vanilla sorting (not playing to play "shuffle inventory")…

But, I have not had CTD's at all on my system for a long time. I traded the visuals for pretty much rock solid stability.... (knock on wood and hope for the best).

I follow BRB list mostly in the "grouping" order... I have not installed most of what he recommends - just a matter of personal choice. I do not use Better Locational Damage, not for the mushiness of killing improvements, but for all the things it tries to do.

BLD has a script load that I also felt interfered with SS/Conqueror... it was an item I simply decided was "Nice", but not "needed".

Mostly, I have just accepted the limitations of the game engine - which if Bethesda wanted to make a killing on would be to offer an upgraded engine - that would be something I would personally would pay for.
