#1. Cars/Trucks Lootable
#2. Open and Loot Boxes
#3. Vault Containers can be Looted

These are 3 mods I really enjoy cause it adds more loot to the game and its pretty well balanced loot also. Plus it just makes senses cause why can't you loot most of these things in the base game other wise they are just there for Aesthetics or just to make you wonder why has no one open this taped up box....Lol

List some mods you find fun or immersive that go well with sim settlements please.

The addons are enough for me. But I always think the cheat terminal was essential in my playthrough even in pre SS era. Corrupt save and having to start a new game? iT'S Easy to just modify your specs in the cheat terminal and add your equipment. In the middle of building and can't stand the thought of going to diamond city to buy cement or wood or whatever? Just spawn junk in cheat terminal. :)

Whenever I develop the castle, We are the Minuteman is an amazing immersion adding mod. :)

And craftable working sinks, showers, redux (cwss redux) also works well. Just replace the vanilla toilets and showers that the city plan adds and watch it adds a new level of life to the city when the settlers use them. They eat, visit each other's houses and work in SS already. By adding this, it adds a new dimension to the realness or "aliveness" of the city. :)

Also, now that interior plots are live, it's also fun to play with the space in Hagen Fortress. :) check that mod out. Might be too heavy for lower system but if low fps don't bother you (like me), it's a well made place that can play well with the interior plots. ;)

Place Everywhere is pretty much a must have for settlements builders. Can't recommend it enough.

Most, or all, scrap mods will cause problems the longer in the game you get. Recommend to stay away.

Well here's my 2c worth I use 2 mods that are light weight for resource and storage , and in my game cause no issue with ss and rotc and for work brilliantly lore wise ..

Scrap everything, aka OCD enabler. I could be out killing raider, but first I have to clean all these trash piles, pull the grass from the sidewalks, clean up these papers, fixed that damaged stone, and then do it all over again when I accidentally deleted a massive piece of road and haven't saved.

Scrap Everything. Because you have never tried cleaning fallout out of vinyl ... AND DESPERATELY WANTED TO!

Scarp everything is great .. until you find yourself in a hole filled with CTD's

Clean and Simple - Settlement Startup

I think this works well with SS. I suspect it might have issues with the full Rise of the Commonwealth version, since i believe they change the geography a bit to flatten out areas.

Essentially they scrap most things, tidying the places up and dumping materials in a box for easy access.

Scrap everything is very good but yes, you can delete a rock or even some rubbish that is being used to cover up a hole in the "world". The designers cut a few corners, it's the way it goes. Vault-88 is the worst for that in my experience.

It would be nice if they'd built everything up from a solid foundation, but I expect most players are perfectly happy playing the game for a few hours then buying the next title. It's just us hardcore fans who don't want our settlements looking like a rubbish dump.

As far as I've been able to tell scrap that settlement or [STS] is a safe to use scrapping mod cause it only allows you to scrap things that won't effect the game in a big way since most other scrapping mods seem to cause crashes because of this its a nice alternative to scrap everything which has a lot of bugs from what i hear.
