Suggestion Layer Handle Snapping

Could you please make a special floor that the layer handle will snap onto? This way by placing down that floor, the layer handle will snap to the center of that floor piece. Place down another floor at a target location, move the layer handle to snap onto the target location floor to move the entire layer. This way by designing the initial floor position and the target floor position you can move the entire layer with precision and make the layer align with other things perfectly.

I'm new to workshop plus. If this mechanism or similar mechanism with the same effect already exist please do let me know.

It doesn’t exist, no. Interesting thought.
 
The Workshop+ update from a few days ago adds snaps to the bottom of the layer handles and the blueprint handle.

There are floor snaps available in the WRK, and also (shameless plug) in my Whisper's Extra Pieces and Snaps mod.
