Solved Is SS/Conqueror compatible with BLD or mods that change vanilla NPC health, damage etc?

Basically I'm looking to do a Better Locational Damage playthrough, and I notice with Conqueror there are loads of NPCs added. The question is, do these NPCs use actual vanilla stats links / are they actual vanilla raiders from vanilla leveled lists or are they new NPCs that simply have their stats similar to vanilla. The distinction between the two is any mod that drastically changes NPC health and damage to create the hardcore experience depends on the changes, and if you ever have a mod that adds a new NPC with stats *similar* to vanilla, they may be entirely OP/UP when played with the overhaul mod. Any mod that simply uses vanilla NPCs from the vanilla leveled lists with their vanilla stats and dresses them up, then it should work fine.

What's your experience with this? To provide an example of what I mean, the "Traveling NPCs" mod has completely vanilla NPCs that are 5+ times more powerful than any NPC you would find in BLD and completely wreck you and your entire squad.
 
do you mean Travel NPCs? i use both mods and never realised they were so OP
that explains why i had to hide everytime i saw a raider party with power armor
 
Thats exactly what I mean. Because of the way the mod system works, unless a mod uses a vanilla NPC as a template, any OTHER mods (such as BLD) can't possibly change those NPCs unless a special patch is made. BLD "overrides" all vanilla NPC stats and weapons.
 
Afaik KG is using BLD on his let's-play.
I use Pack Attack which alters NPC behaviour as well as their stats, a lot. I also use Modern Firearms which injects really powerful weapons to the level lists.
Raiding settlements is hard as fuck, and can't be done without copious amounts of chems, but that's the way I likes it.
 
Knowing how Kinggath likes to interfere with as little of the game as possible, and the fact he uses BLD himself, I'm guessing he used vanilla template stat links in the NPCs he includes with conqueror.
