Old Post Installed Complex City Plans, but not showing up

I installed the optional file for complex city plans and turned complex city plans on in performance options, but Finch Farms will only give me the Optimized plan.

Can you check two things: 1. Are the esls showing up checked in on the in-game Mods > Load Order screen? 2. Do the complex plans show up in any of the other settlements?

Thanks, them not being enabled in the load order was the issue. Usually NMM does that automatically, guessing it didnt because theyre ESLs? Anyways, enabled them, scrapped the city planner desk and built a new one, and the plan showed up.

I have an similar problem. Sim settlements switched to the optimized city plans while i was in Nuka World and now my settlements have the optimized plans. Is there any way to switch back to the complex plans without rebuilding my settlements?

BTW: I never recieved a pop-up about switching the plans...

No, there's no way to switch back - you needed to have the complex plans installed when that upgrade switch runs.

If it didn't give you the notification, then it means the swap script is still running, as the last thing it does is posts the message box. The entire script should only take 3 or 4 minutes to run, so if it's stuck - you're likely going to need to roll back anyway as your save will have had to have a script problem in order for that one to get stuck.

So I need to downgrade to 3.4.6, reload my game, save, upgrade to 3.5.1? Thank god it's friday :D

Downgrading won't help, you need to go back to whatever save you were last using before patch 3.5.0, and load that with 3.5.1 and wait until you get the pop-up.

Note that if you have the complex esls installed, you will never get the pop-up, and that means everything worked correctly.

Well the last save is gone (survival mode autosave) my Bad

I think i installed the 3.5.0 with the complex Plans and had no pop Up. Still Sim settlements is using the optimized plans. Is scrapping and restarting the conplex plans going to work? Font want to start over the game:D

Check in your performance options and make sure you have Complex Plans enabled. If so, they should work.

I already did. Complex plans are enabled but the game is still using the optimized plans. Maybe there had been a problem with the script...Is thera a way to check for the script?

Are you manually selecting the Complex city plans?

In the configuration menu? Yes.

When you start a new city at the desk. If you assign a leader and let them build, they will pick one at random.

If you want to be certain they build the complex, select the city plan before you assign a leader.

Thanks for the advice! I think I start a new playthrough now. Always wanted to tryout Horizon. Maybe it's a sign to do just that...
