Anyone have a suggestion for me how to keep from going afk so I can run conquerors and go afk for 3 hours?

I'm not sure what you mean.
You can keep the game running by adding this to the General settings in your Fallout4Custom.ini bAlwaysActive=1
You can alt tab, etc once that's added.
Is this what you mean?

When I go back to the PC every 90 seconds I am spinning afk doesnt seem to work how do I keep it going without babying it?

It really shouldn't matter, tbh. I routinely step away for a half hour or more and even while the camera is circling because I've gone idle, it doesn't seem to stop anything from functioning correctly.
Sim Settlements and its expansions will happily keep on running while the game idles. Only the HUD widgets will take a bit to update on your return.
